I think. There is a lot of fear in the market due to Corona virus, because of this, people are still afraid of investing in bitcoin, what is going to happen next, so there is not so much fluctuation in bitcoin at the time of halving and bitcoin is not seen.  There is not enough pump in the price.

The presentation of the material is quite pleasant to the eye, but I would also recommend making a table showing the number of bitcoins for the decades that were / or will be mined, that people clearly saw how to greatly reduce bitcoin mining in the near future.

Privacy and security are important issues for Bitcoin investors. Even though there are no physical Bitcoins, it is usually a bad idea to brag about large holdings. Anyone who gains the private key to a public address on the Bitcoin blockchain can authorize transactions. While it is obvious that the private key should be kept secret, criminals may attempt to steal private keys if they learn of large holdings. Be aware that anyone can see the balance of a public address that you use. That makes it a good idea to keep significant investments at public addresses that are not directly connected to ones that are used for transactions.

Anyone can view a history of transactions made on the blockchain, even you. But while transactions are publicly recorded on the blockchain, identifying user information is not. On the Bitcoin blockchain, only a user's public key appears next to a transaction—making transactions confidential but not anonymous. In a sense, Bitcoin transactions are more transparent and traceable than cash, but Bitcoin can be used anonymously.

This should double the price of bitcoin, definitely.
It's not anything definite, and that's the beauty of the infographic by Coingecko. It's all about facts and warns specifically about price speculations since external factors must be considered and personal research conducted. I like the chart and information, although I think the estimated date of halving would not hurt to be on the image. It's also inconvenient that the countdown weblink is not something you can click (because it's an image, so I guess not much can be done here). Overall - simple but good, and since you aimed at beginners, the content is informative.

Thanks for the feedback! We can consider working on that next, referring to numbers right? Not graph per se

Thanks for all the wonderful feedback and we are updating the infographic accordingly! Appreciate them!

Yes we aimed this infographic for beginners. We believe that most people should at least have a basic understanding of the halving event, as there can be lots of confusion.
We figured that pros will probably research further to get the information they seek.

No matter what the outcome of the halving would be to the price, we do hope everyone stay excited about it!  Grin

This kind of thing happen once every 4 years, its like a sighting a shooting star ☆彡

This infographic isn't bad,but I've seen better infographics, that contain lots of detailed information about the halving. This one is just short&sweet and straight to the point, without any complicated explanations about hashrates, blockchain, mining, etc.I wonder what will happen after 2040,when the mining reward will become zero and the total BTC supply will be reached. Will Bitcoin survive the next 20 years? Many newbies are asking those questions in the forum, but no expert, even Andreas Antonopolous, can answer.

In my opinion it is useful as some people can easily comprehend pictures with guides and information on what data you're trying to rely. Some people doesn't want to read very long pages of documents that's why only very few people only knows Bitcoin and Blockchain Technology because the most available references to learn it is text based hundred words which is very tiring to read.

Simple infographic but lots of information. Newbies will further understand this point of halving. Since it was kinds vague for them the reason for bitcoin halving and why the rewards will be cut half.

A lot of investors actually are very excited on this halving event since there are so many predictions about the huge pumping of price. Let's see about that as I am a long term holder, too.

A concise explanation, thanks for making this more fun to read Cheesy

Now, I am curious what's gonna be the price by 2030 or 2040?
That's too far, in fact, I'm already wondering what the price of BTC will be next year. LOL

Historical data can be a good analysis. We know that prices always go up after halving, the previous period proves that. I also really hope that there will be significant changes, at least there is a pump to treat the bad season since 2018.

There have been a lot of false information regarding bitcoin. Some say it is the slashing of the total circulation of bitcoin whereas that is misleading. Thanks for the inforgraphic; it is helpful. I hope other who don't know what bitcoin halving is can get to see this and understand what it is exactly.

I hope many newbies here that don't know about bitcoin halving will encounter and read this thread.
This is pretty simple and straightforward. The graph is also very easy to understand.

Under normal circumstances, I was expecting the price to jump upward with Bitcoin halving. However, it makes me think that everyone starts talking about it. In an environment where everyone is expecting the same thing, I think not everyone has a chance to make money. I still have expectations for Bitcoin, it just makes me think about when we can see a new ATH.

However, in this process, I think the performance of altcoins becomes more important. During the previous Bitcoin run, altcoins accompanied by it. I'm not sure if it will be the same this time.

Nice graph. It remind us how almost all of the coins are already mined and the mining of new coins are nearly over and mining needs to be sustained with fees alone. With so much power needed to keep the blockchain work, a decrease in fees would cause the network to not work.

I've seen a lot of this, it's generic but it's helping.

This is the first halving that I'm going to experience, I don't want to be sound pessimistic about the halving but I guess we set a too much high expectation with the halving that it could go the opposite direction. These are just my thoughts, everyone is expecting the price to pump maybe they think that it will hit another all time high or at least above $12K, but we cannot be so sure of it.

Omicron is another FUD
good info @OP.. details and explanations the picture is very interesting and easy to understand for all (beginner to senior)..

A good infographic, but it contains the basic information that beginners need, so I recommend moving it to Beginners & Help.
You can add some information such as where did Bitcoin Halving comes from, the effects of it on supply and demand, and consequently the price, and more charts (you can add it to the main chart,) that link the price, Google search words, and others.
I think it's very good being in this main thread because some people (which only focuses bounty) are lazy to open the Beginners & Help section Cheesy

Thanks for the infographics. It's informative and easy to understand mostly for the newbies that still don't understand what even is halving is all about.

Putting the explanation on a graphical content is more attractive to read and emphasize the important info.

Nice infographic for understanding it more clearly. we are coming close to this event we need to understand it more clearly on what about to happen in this less than 15 days. Some people say before the price could have been doubled today if it's not because of the virus. nevertheless, we will see the final result soon, I'm sure there will be a good movement of the price these coming days. we better prepared for the sudden changes.
