It's around three month from the date Op has mentioned about his interest Inn bitcoin, age and the buying of bitcoin at a price of $9200. From the description provided he's very lucky to know about bitcoin at a much younger age of 13. Also he has understood better about the technology as well as has known about holding of bitcoin to profit in the long run.

I believe he isn't a active bitcoin user, and it seems he buy and holds for profit. That's why he isn't not much active in the forum. Probably he'll be the Eric Finnman of the falling generation.
We do not know what happened to the op since it seems he only created his account to ask that question but two positive days was all what it was needed to change his position from a losing one to a winning one, he bought at 9200 and the price is above 9500, while it is nowhere close to the profits he was expecting since he wanted to wait until bitcoin surpassed its ATH, at the same time he is experiencing profits above 3.5% and starting your trading career with a profit is always many times better than starting with a loss.

Hello, I´m 13 and I´m very interested in Bitcoin, because of this I buy BTC. Actually, I've been studying BTC for over a year to invest. Back to the subject, I buy BTC for 9.200 dollars, and I would like to know if you think it´s a good ideia hold btc until it reaches 20.000. Anyway, for now i´m going to wait btc until it reaches in 20.000 for me to sell. What do you think about my opinion? Wink

Your early awareness about bitcoin as a kid will go a long way in making you successful in future you did well by buying bitcoin at $9200 although presently the price had been dumping in past few days I believed your aim is to hodl the bitcoin for a long term investment obviously with upcoming of halving of bitcoin in 2020 the tendency of the price hitting $20,000 your projected target is very feasible and realistic ensure that your bitcoin is well secured.

I am hoping you are still holding on to your 1 Bitcoin despite if the market is sometimes discouraging. Since you bought yours at the $9,200 level, selling it now can mean a loss of more than $1000 which is not a good proposition to consider, after all Bitcoin is meant to be hodl for some time and you must generate some profit in order to make this adventure worthwhile. Your situation is a lot better than those who entered Bitcoin when it reached its highest of almost $20K and I am sure many of them right now are looking forward to 2020 halving that can push the price higher than we expect. Hope springs eternal and this can be the time to continue on believing in the powerful potential of this coin, no matter what others might say otherwise.

At a young age you can save money is extraordinary and you at this age are familiar with crypto, this is a golden opportunity, because bitcoin is an asset that must be saved for the future. Many experts or masters of crypto predict that bitcoin will reach the highest price, but we must be patient to make it. Hold your bitcoin until the highest price according to your expectations
A lot of underages already involved into crypto. 1 thing that they like is they don't need ID card to make wallet. MEW and blockchain not really force their users to do KYC, so they can earn and save their coins in wallet.

Your opinion is very good, and you are also fortunate to have known Bitcoin since the age of 13 years. That is a plus for you, with a young and fresh age you can spend more time learning all things about Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Technology itself. Bitcoin really has the potential to become more expensive in the future, especially if it has reached the maximum supply. Market demand will increase while supply is very limited. So I think $20,000 is something that is very possible, even McAfee predicts that in the next 4-5 years Bitcoin can touch $500,000.

]I wish I was that smart when I was 13, if this young person really decides to invest in bitcoin and it is capable of holding his coins then he will surely become a success story in the forum, however as we know it is not easy at all to hold our coins especially when the price crashes like what we saw some years ago, so as long as he also believes in the technology and it is not here just for the money he will do fine but if he only cares about the money there is a chance he will lose it if the price crashes.

Well not all 13 years has the mindset to save money by investing it in bitcoin or any other crypto for that matter. If all of us will do, then by this time we could all be millionaires, there could be some exceptions though, specially kids who have been raised in a family wherein he it being guided by someone and teaches him the value of early savings, not just in crypto but maybe in stocks.
Not all 13 year olds have that mindset but we need to try to teach them how important is to save and to invest, in my country almost no one has any savings and even the smallest inconvenience can cause a crisis in the family and this not only affects families with low incomes, this affects everyone, most of my friends have no savings and I know they spend their money in many things they do not really need, and without any savings then you cannot invest and improve your economic situation.

1. Gold - prices tend to be stable and will not go down even badly each year prices always increase, that's why
Firstly, when compared to crypto volatility gold looks very stable, but outside the crypto market gold movements of 2-3% are considered big and they do affect whole industries relying on the metal.

Secondly, the price of gold doesn't increase each year---it has gone through a multi year bear market and has just woken up in the last 12 or so months. It's still far away from its all time high of $1.9k per ounce.

2. Bitcoin - chose bitcoin because fluctuating prices can go up significantly, so I prefer bitcoin.
Prices can go down a lot in Bitcoin too, so it comes down to what side of the trade you are on..... luckily for people they can make money regardless of the market sentiment and direction thanks to platforms such as BitMEX.

You are young but you are so smart at age of 13 you buy bitcoin and you want it to hold. Good for you my dear. Hold your bitcoin and you will wait at the right time to sell it. I know you have a big faith on bitcoin thats why you invest in bitcoin.

Such children are the luckiest of all because they have such precious elders in their life who teaches them the value of saving money or investing money in crypto, actually they make them understand of all the situation which they will face in life regarding money. I think early saving of money will help children in life ahead, as a person grows his expenses also increases.

Saving is very important for the future and family, I have been investing more than 2 years in bitcoin and gold for a long term. Why do I prefer gold and bitcoin?

1. Gold - prices tend to be stable and will not go down even badly each year prices always increase, that's why
2. Bitcoin - chose bitcoin because fluctuating prices can go up significantly, so I prefer bitcoin.

All proceeds for the future of my child if one day.

This kid is very clever at his age he is interested in crypto and even invested in bitcoin. When I was young I know nothing and didn't think to earn money. But this person makes a great decision in life to earn money. At this point good to hold btc and wait for the price to surge up so he can able to have profit.

That is because when we are at the age of 13, the chance for us to make money is not widely. Our parents tell us that we must go to school, having fun with our friends without trying to give or introduce what we will be when we grow up. And with technology nowadays, many parents realize that to make money can be from many sources and not just from the office. We can use the internet to make money and get much information about making money. So that kid was very lucky kid among the others because he buy bitcoin and now he is waiting for the increase in the price. But I wonder how much bitcoin he purchased in a year ago.

It is more evident more young people is getting into cryptocurrency users. At the age of thirteen means it is too early to know much about technology. What he preserves now will get him financially free in five to ten years of time. There are already few examples of young people who have made themselves millionaires investing on bitcoin, most popular being Erik Finman.

If someone already has a target to hold, let it be. But in many cases, Bitcoin will reach a higher price which makes people regret like; ahhhh if I wait for a little bit longer will get higher profit. Or another case waiting for so long, procrastinate to sell but then the price plummeted in a short period.

as long as you hold, there would be nothing to lose as I think it is the safest thing to do in this market. But that requires a lot of patience and devotion since only then you'll be able to maximize the profit from it because more the time spent, more would be the profit...
In bitcoin investment, no one is a loser until they panic sell their coin, but for anyone that sold without panic selling, they are also not a looser because they would have eventually made their profit, but for Long-term holders, I think that they are still the ones that will enjoy bitcoin the most because bitcoin in future will still eventually get to a price value where every investors that has currently put money from the time of bear till now will all have some profit to make.

I know that most people that are quite worried now are the ones that still have their money locked in the $19800 of the last bull run, but they have still not missed out as the price of bitcoin in the next bull run will surely go 3x of that amount, so the op has really made a very right choice at her age.

For sure an investor will have to keep holding if he really wants to get benefit from crypto coin investment and it Always takes long to recover the price till then only holding is a profitable way of cryptocurrencies investment. Holding actually gives safety and satisfaction about gaining profit. Panic selling is the worst thing you do in crypto currency.

Right, I never prefer exiting market at loss, no matter what! Holding coins even if their value is lower than for what you bought signifies that there is still the possibility of making profits. Once you sold your investment, you lost the chance of making any future profit. So my suggestion is to always hold coin if it is in loss because eventually every loss could be corrected to profit.

Panic selling is the worst thing anyone could ever do as it's a self damage which they incur due to rumors, but when it comes to day traders it's more profitable for them during the market fluctuations than the stable period as they make profit out of both the pump and dump. Even I don't personally sell crypto when market is going down but rather I convert them to BTC or ETH for better chance of survival.

Well if they are easily affected with the fud then that would be there natural reactions and they are prone to huge losses since they can't control their emotions to contradict the market situations. But if they know how to do the stop loss and wait for perfect time to buy then they will not worry on anything since they have a good chances to regain back especially if they are into bitcoins and eth tradings.

Convert the coin into BTC or ETH will be a solution to prevent the losses, especially if we are going to see the price is down deeper. That can be a chance to buy back the coin if the price has already reached the lowest price. But for bitcoin, as long as you don't sell it whenever the price is down, you are not losses, but you still have a chance to see your bitcoin value will increase back. But to know that time, you need to wait for a while and don't panic selling even if the price is down because you use a long term investment strategy.
