Hi,

Just to be clear, I work for the Betballer side of the business, not John Flynn Bookmakers (We accept all every size of player BTW!)

The Horse Racing guys asked me to post something here in the hope of attracting some medium-high staking players. They do not want small players, as it is not their business.

I have voiced the feedback to them from Bitcoin Talk and they have reduced the min stake to much lower than what they accept in standard currency.

The company is fully licensed and operates four different platforms, catering to a very large client base - http://www.hsbsportsbook.com/our-brands. Trust should not be an issue here.

Francis

sad to know that Betball is not accepting small-players but anyway it's really great that you have made this . maybe If I am already earning enough that I can stake the same amount of your minimum deposit I'll go and make bets with this Online Horse Racing betting site .

www.johnflynnbookmakers.eu

You can deposit, play and withdraw in Bitcoin.

Minimum deposit: 500mBTC
Minimum bet: 50mBTC

Good luck,

Francis

Betballer.com & John Flynn Bookmakers are owned and operated by HSB Sportsbook, based and licensed in Ireland - www.hsbsportsbook.com

Nice Gambling Site you got here I think I gotta try it out, even if I don't have an experience with horse racing but I think I would give it a shot and is there a horse racing analyst that could help in taking a hint or giving his prediction on what horse might win, and does the lbs of a horse could affect his running speed? if anybody could suggest something before I could bet to be just a bit safe!

Nice outlook on the whole thing! I would suggest you try the following site for excellent info on daily racing! http://www.attheraces.com/racecards/tomorrow

Regards,

Francis

this good site, the first special bitcoin horse racing gambling
but this compare another site is very high miniumum deposit (0.5bitcoin) and placed bet 0.05 bitcoin
in another site no minimum bet

Hi there,

As mentioned previosuly, I had a chat with the guys over at John Flynn and explained the general consensus here at Bitcoin Talk regarding the limits for Bitcoin.

So you can start with a deposit of minimum 100mBTC and minimum bet of 20mBTC.

They have nothing like this for their regular currency players.

Enjoy,

Francis

You must take some consideration that not all gamblers are high rollers thats why high minimum required deposits are burden to us, just make this requirements low and im pretty sure that you can get more player unto this don't target the high market for the first time of introducing this games and let the gamblers decide if they will bet huge money for this one, huge amount of requirements can be turn bad since many people will find it not a good one for low profile gamblers.

so true, because not all gambler can make a bet and take a risk by placing 0.02 to betting site like yours, especially for those who only earn btc from signature campaign including me as we only earn an extra amount of money . arwin100 is right maybe you should lower your minimum deposit as well as the minimum bet in order to attract more bettors .

Very fair.

Seems like almost everyone in this thread is just spamming for their signature post. They are not going after every player, this is a service for mid - large bettors. The model does not work for small players.

Minimum deposit and minimum bet is way too high...
Agree with you because with the minimum bet and deposit we can not do much better and there is a full chance to lose our investment within few minutes, they have to improve and reduce some minimum deposits and minimum bet as well then it will be fine for the users who willing to invest.

I agree with others above me that Minimum deposit, which is 0.5 BTC, is too big. Make it lower, give people a chance to try first how it works. I don't think it's possible to find someone who would risk 0.5 BTC so easily. Although your site looks professional, 0.5 BTC is still a huge amount to risk.

OMFG . I didn't noticed it lately Grin what the heck is this for real ? the minimum deposit is 0.5 and the minimum bet is 0.05, these people are right it is such a very huge amount and most of us can't afford to lose that amount of satoshi because we usually just earning an amount of 0.04 weekly by participating with signature campaign I know that you are providing a VIP Horse Racing Platform but that's true the said amount is really huge for us to risk on betting .

Hi Everyone,

This is good feedback and it is appreciated, that is the general info I was given by the guys at John Flynn.

I know they are used to dealing with high-roller players but I am 100% sure if you send them an email [email protected], they will set up an account for less with lower minimums stakes.

Good luck!

Francis

Well, as a representative of that company you should have an initiative to inform the management that their plans in the bitcoin world is not possible. Bitcoin gamblers are fond of gambling at small amounts and you might even earn more from this than just targeting big fish. The cryptocurrency is quite a large market for gambling and I think you should exploit it.

Bitcoin casinos make just about all of their money from larger players, as does every casino. Totally understandable why they would want high minimums considering horse racing also has to deal with physical bet slips etc opposed to just being able to determine the outcome of a bet immediately (online casino).

At OP: Keeping high minimums is fine, there are plenty of high roller Bitcoin players in the sportsbook/non-casino betting sector. I might end up making an account, though I don't typically bet on horses unless I'm actually at the track Smiley

Thank you, what you mention above + the extensive customer service in dealing with tonnes of smaller players are big contributors to the high-staking player model being preferable to certain operators (especially on horse racing).

I have provided the feedback to them, thank you. Their business model is to cater to bigger players and their business is very successful. That said, it may be an oversight to think they can attract the same size of horse racing player in the Bitcoin space.......but there are some very big bitcoin bettors out there Wink

F

Indeed OP, but I think there are plenty more gamblers that would be gambling less than 50mbtc per bet. Having that high as a minimum bet be too limiting for the gambler and the casino. The casino needs to get more clients and indeed in the bitcoin world gamblers will tend to gamble at lower rates than in real life. You might be able to get big bitcoin bettors but you have to convince them first that your site is legit and they can trust it. How will they be able to do that if no one else is gambling on your site.

Also just to inform you, the gambling site is a bit unimaginative and poorly designed in my opinion. Everybody that will be checking your website would appreciate a better UI. Good first impressions should be your goal to success. Most gambling sites fail this, and most of the time the first time a gambler opens an ugly, unprofessional and unsecured site they will most likely just close the browser and go elsewhere.
