Unfortunately 2018 isn't a year of crypto so far...we didn't see any good think about bitcoin or altcoin just the fake news and the price manipulation...i hope that the second half of this year will be better
It is possible for 2018 to favour Ethereum more than Bitcoin, but as it is now, it is not yet clear if that would happen. Presently, as the price of bitcoin dips, ethereum is also experiencing the same. I am still optimistic that Ethereum will rise.
I hear it a lot and I have invested in it. My hope is as expected and this year will be Ethereum's year. I am most satisfied with this.
I do not think that 2018 will be the year of Ethereum. Because the price on the ETH has a direct dependence on bitcoin.
You made a valid point, depsite btc dominance and popularity in the crypto space, ethereum has gone on to prove its critics wrong by providing the most easiest smart contract platform you can build your project on and that is why we have seen more than 80percent of blockchain start up build on the ethereum network and this have made ethereum the most relevant coin so far in 2018, though the line bitcoin is king can't still be disputed.

This is because bitcoin is the pioneer in this tech era. also because when you ask anybody who has a slight idea what cryptocurrency is, they tell you it is bitcoin. to them bitcoin and cryptocurrency mean the same thing even if this was true years ago but we knw it has changed. this is why bitcoin will be the first the will ever buy.

It is difficult for me to agree with you, solid points buy still I can`t go against my gut feeling. I would honestly be very pleased to see Ethereum at an all-time high at any given time in 2018, but I don`t believe that will happen, simply because more and more regulation are being created, connected with crypto in general.
I like your opinion, because I personally admirer ethereum. about which truth will become a favorite in 2018 this bitcoin or ethereum I do not know for sure.

Positive talk on Ethereum has been in place. Yes, ETH team has assured that its Ether value would go threefold by end of December. This shows a constant effort is put in by the team towards its growth. Though all these incidents takes place, bitcoin is never going to leave a space to ETH to grow by its side. BTC may allow BCH but ETH. Bitcoin is on its unique track screening its tremendous value amongst other top listed coins. Hope 2018 would be the year of all altcoins. Lets see.

Yeah maybe but still bitcoin will be on to top list as we all know bitcoin is the most popular among of them you can never deny that. And you can see the difference between the two, the bitcoin value is to far away from the eth that's why for me still bitcoin in 2018.
2017 was explosive and successful for Bitcoin.We all could see when he rolls over for 20000тыcяч dollars.But I think 2018 will be significant for Ethereum.And this will happen after the introduction of Vitalik Buterin SHARDING,due to which increase the number of transactions per second.That's when it happened-Ethereum will be the number one cryptocurrency.Now is the time to invest in it.
At the moment the market seems to move together, i mean all alts and btc is moving up and down together, i think this trend will continue this year and if the total market cap goes past 1 trillion then we will see new highs for both the bitcoin and alts.
So far in 2018 Ethereum lost some of its value compare to Bitcoin. I don't think that Ethereum is going to be separate of Bitcoin and the whole market that is moving according to Bitcoins movement.
Recently bitcoin face some problem because some county banned bitcoin. In this situation ethereum grave the market. Previously bitcoin doing better than ethereum. So I think in recently bitcoin will gain the top position.
It is right that in the year of 2018 Ethereum is going better in the market but it does not mean that bitcoin will not be good in this year. Bitcoin is also much better and the demand of it is still increasing on a faster speed. It will not take much time to start the adoption with highest speed. It was also the previous year when the price was at stability for the first 6 to 7 months of the year and after that the price started to increase and it reached to a value that was not in the thoughts of any person.
