Oh, I know such traders. They are only clever in words, I do not trust anyone after all, only rely on my intuition. I think bitcoin will grow to such heights, but definitely not this year.
I think it's worth to expect 50,000, although now it's a ridiculous figure and somehow I do not believe it, but we'll postpone it) We are waiting, hoping and believing

You are right there's nothing wrong on hoping to get a large profit from it. I'm not expecting bitcoin to reach 50k usd maybe a more realistic price can be at 25k usd but if it comes it a good news to all of the bitcoin holder.
It is pretty good that that the market value before the year 20148 ends reaches fifty thousand dollars. It will be glad by the whole community because many people will earn instant income.
Each of us has predictions with individual arguments and views. I hope the results are good for bitcoin in 2018 at 30k. 50k is a big yes! After this bear market. When every losers give up their BTC and Alts. Whales will start to pump it all. They will be happy to pump it to 50k, because they invested at $4k , yes BTC will collapse more.
I was thinking the same when bitcoin was around $20K but nowadays i'm almost sure that bitcoin would be the same for a long time. At the end of 2018 we can even lost our currency.
If hyperinflation kicks in and a gallon of milk costs 5 Trillion USD then BTC will be worth 50.000 USD. Enough to buy one matchstick.
Maybe bitcoin will reach that price.. But i think bitcoin will not reach that price this year, bitcoin is so volatile, no one knows what will happen next and no one can predict the price of bitcoin. But for sure bitcoin will pump this year. I think it will reach $20,000 - $30,000
we are almost in the middle of the year yet BTC is still struggling in the red zone, in as much as the prices will recover along with the market, the above mentioned price is way too bullish, BTC may get there someday, but we arent there yet, not this year

This might be and might not. Remember people forecast that the price would be around $3,000 in last December and what did we get? It was above that in about eight folds. They thought $3,000 but it worth about twenty four thousand dollars.

Bitcoin price is a roller coaster the start of the year 2018. It goes up at first and stays then go down and stay and go up a bit then drop more so low and rapidly. Will it go up again in a loop then down and up again? We really don’t know what will happen like we really don’t know what the reason of the huge drop is. Is it the news? The bad news that affect the mind of investors or is it really manipulated? But why other altcoins price also dropped? We really don’t know right? We just depending on big investors decisions. Their decisions will affect the bitcoin price also. But what do you think can affect those peoples mind in invested and selling their bitcoin? For sure the bad news and the good news they heard. The tweets of some influential people also affect them. That’s only my opinion.

I don’t know if it will affect the price of Bitcoin or other crypto currency because as I check the CMC / Coinmarketcap.com list still on red percentage. I will just wait for next week update. Maybe this news will affect it soon.

I think yes,but way from 7k to 50k will be hard but bitcoin's price crossed $ 19k on december 16, 2017.But i think it will be in 2019-2020.

Agreed, this is a price too high, bitcoin can not be achieved, it does not have enough power to go to that price, capital from the market is not allowing it to do that miracle, and exactly as you said, the price of bitcoin has risen so fast, it needs stability back, instead of continuing to rise. A market correction is a normal part of a healthy market. People might panic because of this. But then, we can overcome this bear market. Short trading is hard but if you knew where to enter, you can still get profit even in a bear market.
With the current situation bitcoin has been facing which includes the number of people that cashed-out in the early months of 2018 as well as numerous negative disputes on the said cryptocurrency, the only safe prediction one can make is that it will be able to recover from its losses and it might also surface on its last year's all-time-high. 50,000$ for me is a b old and ambitious yet somewhat naive claim.
I would be very happy if Bitcoin's price rose to $ 50,000. I think that all crypto community would be very happy. let's hope that it will be so
