Not really wishing for a certain amount but the only thing I am hoping is that bitcoin would still be valuable on that year and if possible, higher value.
I'd like to hope we'll see something like $5,000 bitcoin's by 2020 assuming bitcoin is alive & well.

yes all could happen. even 10,000 USD. with more and more use of bitcoin by various circles of society, the higher the price of bitcoin. bitcoin economic system will be stronger. We're going to need to see vastly more users & widespread adoption though.

4 years is enough to make bitcoin a well known in all parts of the world..with the help of those social media sites they can spread the bitcoin fever. We're going to need to see vastly more users & widespread adoption though.

The thing is, will it exist till then?
If it does, then I think no one can beat it rising above 10000, as we will see it there in 2020 if that halving takes place again before all coins mined.

The bitcoin value is really unpredictable. We can never know what will happen to it in the future. Well, its not just about the price thus also the benefits and the advantage we get from it. Still btc we consider as a currency.
It is unpredictable but on the longer term we can all agree the price will see a new high when we are in 2020.
My guess is it will even get to 2k in 2020
I see that happen too. Maybe even higher suppose bitcoin is being adopted in 2020. Adopted by many shops. Then it's logic the price is real high, because
consumers are being bitcoins, investment firms are buy bitcoin etc.
I think in that year the bitcoin will be stable on a certain point, of course this is still not really predictable but this is just what I think its just a matter of time in my eyes.

No at least till that year we cannot say that the price of bitcoin will come to stability, from now till that era the price of bitcoin will increase continuously and this pricing will continue till the next year or more. Yeah we don't see what will happen in the future but i think more adoption will come with bitcoin because if you know brazil bitcoin is success there and they have 150 store are accepting bitcoin as payment.. so it will happen too in other country..

Block halvings happen every four years. In the runup to that block halving the price must increase with at least 100-200% from the current price in order to keep mining rewarding with just 6.25 BTC per block.
I would expect it to double compared to the price in 2019, not the current price.

Bitcoin is ever changing currency whom value changes after every hour. So we cannot predict what is going to happen after 1 day so how can we predict what will be the value of bitcoin after 4 years that is 2020.

Anyone holding double figure BTC will be sitting on 6 figure dollars by then, or higher, you never know. It's worth holding long term to discover.
Yes, it will happen but here not all of the users are holding double digit bitcoins, the normal users at here have only a few bitcoins but still they will get a higher value of profit after a few months.This will not happen... that is just unrealistic without any doubts, it can rise to a high amount but not to a six digit number in my eyes that is just going too far.

Yes, it will happen but here not all of the users are holding double digit bitcoins, the normal users at here have only a few bitcoins but still they will get a higher value of profit after a few months. two bitcoin halving will be done till then...so expext price to be around 2000usd till then
with 2 halvings yes price might go to 5k in 2020 we will know after this halving how thing will be and how it will for next few years

I think in next 4 years we can expect the price of $5k as we know that bitcoin has good potential to achieve it and if adoption goes to extreme level then we can expect more higher price.
yeah let's see the result of a halving in 2016 if it could rise above $1,000, I believe halving in 2020 it will be much higher, as you'd expect $5k could happen
Let me ride you on with this dream of yours. 1,000$ for every unit. Or perhaps divide my coins, the other one i sell now and the other keep it in the wallet and save it for some other time.
