Nobody will know what is going to happen with Bitcoin and that is the problem because Bitcoin is a currency so that is impossible to predict what the value will be.
The most are hoping that they can earn a lot of money with it in that year but we are of course not for sure if that can happen.

Yes we can not predict the exact value beebrapa years to come because it also depends on the circumstances at that time also. I only wish that year we can get many benefits with bitcoin, and bitcoin we will have a lot to collect with ease.

Why should transactions be slower?
Have you read the roadmap regarding blocksize increase and capacity?!
SegWit +Schnoor Sigs will give us capacities similar to 3-3,4MB Blocks! One version of Lightning Network is in the pipelines for this years as well which will finally bring us instant transactions.The merchants will appreciate this! And this will probably continue the next years if necessary.
Altcoins are good for increasing your stash in Bitcoin!But that's it!There is no altcoin out there who could compete with Bitcoin.

In 2020, bitcoin transaction will be slower than what it is today and mining bitcoin will require higher difficulty. Halving every few years due to high inflation to start with will take its toll.

These issues are now being solved by the altcoins out there awaiting for mass adoption. People are not realizing it yet but one or few of the altcoins will be adopted by businesses due to their fast transaction, cheap mining (staking) and low inflation to stabilize the price.

No, thats the wrong perception. The bitcoins will reach beyond the expected value in 2020 and beyond. It needs some more time to establish itself. It been not so long ago that bitcoin started giving threat to FIAT.

well because of halving in 2016 and 2020, and fact that bitcoin is more and more popular each day, i think think price of bitcoin will be around 3000$ at end of 2020

price after this year's halving should be around 900$ so in these 4 years price should rise by 100$ or so and after next halving price should rise to 2500$-3000$, that is pretty real because bitcoin is very popular now

if it's true. then it is a very high price, and very lucky for those who hold bitcoin they collect and people who have many bitcoin at the time
