Bitcoin as a course or any related currency on web.
In my country we have multiple courses in computer especially programing and web developments. My course is also information technology, but i've never heard or learn about online currency as bitcoin. In present, and future studies is there any chances for inserting about it in education. In your country is it available?
It would be better for any country to adopt bitcoin in educating new generations. Instead of playing games and wasting money in surfing xxx sites.
Bitcoin has not even been legalized still in our country.I heard that just now, colleges in some european countries have started to add bitcoin as a subject in their studies. Its a new technology which has created a revolution in the world economy. We may expect soon bitcoin to be added as an important lesson in universities all over the world.

There is a future for bitcoin. It will not be of harm if we will integrate this or even have a discussion about bitcoin in college. Bitcoin will soon be known as cryptocurrencies become known. This is a technology and is the future for a cashless society.

In my country also has many courses related to computer because of the modernization of almost everything. My course is also related to computer butI don’t know what is bitcoin or other cryptocurrency earlier. I just heard it when my friend told me.
I think it would be good if Bitcoin was taught in college too, just one subject that will focus only on about crytocurrency because we are at the modern world, the new technologies are rising and also a currency can evolve too like online currency or cryptocurrency . And the people is starting to accept it and it is continuously spreading. It should be taught also if they want it to be legal because it can help to open the minds of many students about bitcoin or other currency

You may want to study computer programing, and then focus on SQL or Python; do your own research about the blockchain technology. As you see, the government decides what curriculum should be taught in schools - that's why I doubt that they will expose their youth to this information technology - if in the first place the bitcoin has not been yet accepted legally (at least).

On the other hand, you don't need to become an IT to understand bitcoin.

Its a good idea if bitcoin is one of the subjects in the college we'll need to become openminded in all things to get the the knowledge i prefer bitcoin is on of the table of contents in the economics because bitcoin is usually the thing that can buy other things so i prefer in the economics subjects

Thats a good idea, and when the topic in information technology is bitcoin and money thats make in internet, the interest to bitcoin will spread to all the students and also to there parents
But the problem is not all schools are teaching about it because maybe it is not legal in their country or maybe something else. I'm currently in college with an IT course but nobody teaches us about cryptocurrencies though there have been a seminar in our school about it but I think no one's interested.

I would agree on that but it should be about cryptocurrencies not just bitcoin. It will be a great help to all people being educated about it. That way, bitcoin will be popular, it would make bitcoin's price surge up.

I can't see bitcoin as part of any curriculum branches in college although it can be connected to IT, mba and marketing courses. Maybe conducting seminars and accrediting certificates as additional skills for applicants would be more realistic and acceptable.  Wink
yes it will be better like certification, because it can be an additional curriculum. while being incorporated into the curriculum will be quite surprising. the use of bitcoin in a college will affect the development of bitcoin. this can increase the use of bitcoin worldwide.

In my country, bitcoin is not the legal payment but there is no prohibition to own and exchange bitcoins. Not many people know about bitcoin and bitcoin can not be used as a college curriculum

Many universities in US and Canada have started teaching courses on Bockchain technology. Sadly, it's not available in my country.
that is a great chance for people living in those countries to improve their skill and awareness about bitcoin and the blockchain technology. My country is the same as yours. IT is still underdeveloped and I believe that it will take more than 20 years until the first course about blockchain released. Well, right now, I have to learn everything on my own
Anyone takingComputer courses like programming and web developing is already learning everything/some of the thingsinvolved inthe crypto currency world. So it’s easy for them to get into Bitcoin anytime.

There is no need to add a course that preached mainly about Bitcoin, but it’s likely to be mentioned in a subject maybe while giving examples.

I heard that in some countries bitcoin is added in their course, that's a good idea and college students would capture the technology behind it very easily. I feel bitcoin should be noticed more by the college students and youths as they are the backbones of any country, but it is not legalised in our country that makes students unaware of it, it would be more better if bitcoin is added as a course in the syllabus by our universities.

It could be a subject Bitcoin in College for as the student will understand the in new generation of online digital currency.
Because most of the time many college student engaged in bitcoin forum to have an extra income.
In a preparation for career development of a new era

That's important, but they never teach bitcoin in college classes. This is pitty. If they learnt small kids about bitcoin, we could have stronger society around the blockchain and bitcoin.
It is better to let people learn on their own, the problem with learning in such an environment is that people get used to go to school to learn instead of taking the time to learn by themselves, if they did that, many tings that are taught at school will be known by people already.

I have graduated from college a couple years back and back then there were no courses involving crypto at all. I hope for the sake of future generations that this will change. It's important to educate people about this new technology.
The crypto currency market is a revolutionary new platform and never expect these to taught in schools and colleges too soon, with time you will see the progress and then you will hear about these in business classes ,hope you have learned about stock markets in college  Tongue you wont get to learn these things unless you want to learn about it.

I do not think it is very easy to add Bitcoin in the Education System.
Because still it is not legal in all countries of the world.
In most cases it is used for corruption And it is an illegal money transfer way, It can be added to the education system if we can stop the use of Bitcoin in illegal works such as smuggling, money laundering etc.
Firstly, we need to try to make Bitcoin valid for all countries and then it can be thought of adding it to education system.

I have finished my study six years ago, so I'm not sure do bitcoin mentioned on the course. Honestly I doubt that in my little citi it really does. And if there is a place where bitcoin is discussed it must be the initiative of a professor or teacher to mention about such thing as bitcoin, cause of I'm sure Bitcoin and crypto-currencies are not in official college programm yet.
