That will be really hard for some countries in my opinion. As you can see now, most countries who have accepted bitcoin and have considered bitcoin is like money just in developed countries. We have known privously that German and Japan have done it and some countries as well but I forget them.

But have you realize that there is no devoloping countries who considered that bitcoin is money? Most of them only regulated it as an investment only nothing more about it. I'm really hoping that they realized immediately, especially in my country which I hope my government accept bitcoin as payment system and sending money tool.

I always admire country that fully legalized bitcoin. Last time India lifted the ban in cryptocurrency. Now, France is doing some advancement, too. Supporting any bitcoin activities will attract more people to engage in this kind of optimistic innovation. I just do hope people will not abused bitcoin in terms of using it in illegal way. Anyway, good job France. Other countries should reconsider legalizing bitcoin, too.

The good news about the crypto community, yesterday, French court calls bitcoin as legal currency. Bitcoin is official now official money in France. We should expect now that they will be going to support the bitcoin mining machine in their country and they will going to boost up the bitcoin in their country.

So the lending, trading, investing, buying and selling of different currencies in their country are all allowed now. The thing about this is bitcoin becomes so good in different country, bitcoin became so known in different country all over the world, they already see the benefits of different currencies, Cryptocurrency is much safer and faster than fiat currency in terms of transactions, because, you don't even need to make effort, go to some establishment to progress the transactions, all things can be done through the use of internet, that is what I really want in cryptocurrency.

The good thing about other cryptocurrencies that accept it in their land, is they may earn so much money compared to what fiat currencies can give to them.

Aside from that, it is good for investing and trading because for sure you will earn from it, because of the volatility of cryptocurrencies.
This news alongside that of South Korea recognising Bitcoin as a currency comes to the crypto space at the time its much needed. If France which is one of the world super powers recognises Bitcoin it means it is only a matter of time before every other country of the world recognises Bitcoin as a true currency and a legal tender.

the main significance of this news is that they are now recognizing bitcoin as a legal currency which is the main goal. unlike some other countries that see bitcoin as a legal "asset", "security", and other weird things like that to tax it more, some other countries such as France and Japan (and i think at least 3 others) consider it a currency.
Well, I think it's a big step, then! If Bitcoin's currency there, does it mean that there're no special taxes on it, and it is in an equal position with EUR?

logically that should be the next move although i haven't seen anything in the news regarding how they are going to define the tax laws about bitcoin.
but in any case the most important thing is that it increases the legitimacy of bitcoin as a currency specially in a world where there is a ton of FUD about bitcoin every day.

@pooya87 indeed very few countries consider bitcoin as a legal currency yet, and I’m delighted to know that France has declared bitcoins as a legal tender out there. Furthermore there was a update regarding Bitcoins tax status few months ago announced by Bruno Le Maire, the French minister for the economy:

Quote

Bruno Le Maire, the French minister for the economy, has revealed that the government will not be imposing taxes on crypto-to-crypto trades. The policymaker made his statement in an interview with Bloomberg on September 12, 2019, stating that they will only be taxing cryptocurrency gains when they are converted into fiat.

First of all, that a country declares Bitcoin as legal doesn’t mean that it is now their official money. The official currency for France remains the Euro, it didn’t change at all, Bitcoin is declared as a legal asset and by being legal means that people are free to buy and sell cryptocurrency without having any problems with the government. It’s just like gold, if gold is not legal in a country you won’t be able to trade it.

Secondly, the next place you’re making a mistake is by saying that a country that accepts cryptocurrency will become rich, no you’re wrong it doesn’t work like that. If it works like that then I guess my country would have been a better place and a rich country.

Do you think France will be able to set an example for other EU countries? In fact, the EU countries are a large economic association where they strive for a single currency, common laws, etc.

no matter what laws France adopts and what other European countries do after it, this won't magically make bitcoin the Europe's single currency. in the end governments still want control and centralization and oppose anything decentralized.
That's right no matter what last in the france are into they are still adopting bitcoin and cryptocurrency as their own money or way of money because they are seeing a positive impact from it what i am trying to find out if what if other european countries will be able to adapt also this cryptocurrency because we all know that the europe part of the earth is one of the most high economic ratings when it comes to the countries in which they are just using single currency what if they will used cryptocurrency what would be the effect of it to their economic status?

The question is more about whether France has the necessary status in the EU to become an example for Italy or Germany. Because the EU countries have different authority.

It's a piece of great news indeed now that France is joining the revolution in legalizing Bitcoin I think that it may impact other countries to do as France did, But I think that would take time to really make it happen, but this is a good start in making other countries to realized bitcoin's worth,

In my opinion, I really like what is happening right now and if Bitcoin is a legal currency in France it will surely make a big difference in the future and the price of Bitcoin will surely reflect such news in the coming months or so.

It's always good to hear that one of the countries has legalized bitcoin/cryptocurrency.
It only means that the crypto space is growing more and more every year and I believe in a few years most of the countries would have accepted crypto.
As more countries accept crypto, the price of BTC is bound to increase in price and once most countries start accepting it the goal of $100,000 per bitcoin will be reached soon.

Accepting Bitcoin by the France government was incredibly good news for the whole crypto community, it was unexpected for me. This month we are getting lots of good news and adoption! As France, Korea, India are now officially supporting Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, then I hope they will bring mining tools and people of these countries will make a better amount of money through crypto. I believe Bitcoin can remove poverty from a whole country, so, it's now a matter of time when all the developing country will realize this and they will welcome bitcoin gladly!
It was really a very good newsthat i have been here right now the continuously adaptation of different countries to the cryptocurrency or bitcoin is suddenly happening right now specially with the south korea africa india and difference which is accepting and adapting the bitcoin or cryptocurrency and other country especially the unbanning of the south korea to the cryptocurrency.
I am glad that eventually they are seeing the positive impact of the cryptocurrency to the globalization of each country especially with with a help to their economic growth.

I hope France will become an example worth emulating by other countries. I guess France is just one of too few countries where Bitcoin is indeed treated the way it should be: a currency. Bitcoin is money. Moreover, I am hoping that this recognition will encourage not just people to begin using Bitcoin in buying and selling stuff but also for business establishments to start embracing Bitcoin as a payment alternative. Well, at last, Bitcoin is now being appreciated for what it is.

Last time it was India that brought good news about bitcoin.

Today, we have France. This is a series of countries announcing good things about bitcoin and that is recognizing and being legal to their country. It's getting more exciting what we're going to see which country shall declare next bitcoin as legal currency or investment.

Despite of this news, the market went opposite but it doesn't matter. This is a clear sign that bitcoin is heading to adoption, the road may be rough and journey might be gradual but it's all good and positive.

I am very sure that this year the number of countries interested in cryptocurrency will continue to grow..

The banks are loosing the battle against decentralization system. The court which represents the last hope of the common man is leaving up to expectation. The banks need to innovate and be prepared for the forthcoming fast changing times if they are to stay profitable and still lead a luxurious lives.
India, China, South Korea, and France have announced their interest in cryptocurrencies..  if it is proven that these countries succeed in running this system then other countries will definitely follow.  Traditional banks must immediately innovate with technological developments so they will not go bankrupt in the future.

First France introduces Blockchain and Bitcoin into the state school curriculum, then recognizes Bitcoin as a currency. Apparently, it decided to aim at being progressive by adopting cryptos before the most influential countries do. Hopefully, it'll have good consequences both for France and for Bitcoin. Declaring it legal and educating younger generations is a great welcoming step, but it's not enough to boost adoptions. The community and retailers have to try making using Bitcoin in everyday life real. I look forward to seeing how it would work.

I appreciate if you can cite any source of this news in your post OP so many users can read also some articles pertaining to this good news.

Here ya go. Lot of steps done recently by the globe regarding the acceptance of Bitcoin to their countries. Though unlike the news about SK, France seems to be fully in it and accepting the existence of Bitcoin at the same level of fiat currency. It'd be nice if they can talk with other countries that have accepted BTC towards some sort of system to officialize it or something.
