1. It's the movie director(s) that's integrating Bitcoin to the movies, not necessarily the actors/actresses.
I agree. Directors with the collaboration of screenwriters!

2. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are mostly added into movies as something that's being used by criminals and shady peeps. Definitely not something that will make people bullish, but it will bring curiosity at the very least.
Maybe! But If you watch "Sweet Girl" you will know why that girl is hunted by the government.

3. Bitcoin has been mentioned and has been part of a good number of movies and TV series now that it's pretty much a nothing burger now.
Yes, there are some great shows I've heard talking about Bitcoin, but it's just the movies of two popular actors I've seen integrating Bitcoin, 1. Jexi - 2019, 2. Sweet Girl - 2021.

I've encountered a few discussions on this forum, suggesting this form of publicity for bitcoin, like creating a plot that actually deals with the mysterious figure of satoshi and the bitcoin creation. Sadly, there would be a lot of fiction to this and so, might be a filled adventure but, projecting bitcoin in an actual movie would be a good thing. A positive thing to bitcoin  anyways but, it depends on the theme it was centered on.

1. Quick transfer of large some over distance
2. Anonymity of usage
3. Untaxed or uncharged
4. No centralization to it
5. Secured usage
6... and lots of things like that.

These goes for me and not necessarily using it for a means to escape with crime or after faulting a rule, it becomes a safe getway. Yeah, it still projects safe but, there is a criminal element attached. Either way, it still calls for research for the learned and intelligence mind. Hence, truths to it could still be discovered. Its a good one!

If I watch the trailer a few times, the movie “Sweet Girl” tells a film with the concept of a split personality story between his father Jason Momoa as Ray and his son Isabela Merced as Rachel, and the plot is confusing and messy.

and there are glimpses of crypto in the film maybe because crypto is currently in vogue, and it could also be because criminal acts are used to escape from one country to another because crypto can be used anywhere.

Well, if she was fleeing from tyrants, that would mean Bitcoin can help humans during the reign of tyrants on Earth. If that was a crime money, it could be tagged with proof and will mostly likely be rejected by users.  Censorship resistant and transparency make this possible.

The show of Bitcoin in the Net Flix movie is a good positive development. Movies are a good source of awareness, publicity, communication, and enjoyment. People see movies eagerly and movies have an effect on society. Today, Bitcoin is mostly seen in the news from different points of view. It is getting popularity in the world. The awareness about Bitcoin is increasing very fastly. The time is not far when the world will come to know about its value and impotence.

First time I've seen Bitcoin in movie I was also pretty much excited. But of course, it was used for illegal stuff.
Interestingly the "inspectors" simply knew an approximate market price and made a quick conversion into dollar equivalent  Cheesy

But no, it's not wow. Bitcoin is around for more than 11 years. It has been in the news countless of times. Politicians talk about it. Public figures talk about it. Of course it's in the movies. And of course it's usually the cliche of "illegal money" that doesn't actually help us. So no, I'm no longer excited when I see bitcoin mentioned in movies.

If you are a fan of Movies, then you will know Jason Momoa. This year on August 20, Jason Momoa has touched Bitcoin in his movie "Sweet Girl" and has been one of the trending Netflix movies that have been watched by over 10 million people so far. In this movie at the end we see Jason Momoa's daughter (Isabela Merced) going to Bitcoin ATM and exchanging her money from Fiat to Crypto.

Jason Momoa is a very popular artist, some of his other movies like "Aquaman" were watched by over 60 million people and made a profit of more than $1.3 billion so it is my hope that "Sweet Girl" will be more watched.

The act of her daughter changing her money to crypto clearly showed that crypto is more secretive because she exchanged her money when she was fleeing from her country to another country and was being hunted by the government. This means she did it because she believed even if she was arrested by the government her money would still be in a safe place in the crypto world.

Do you think that if these great actors in the film industry will continue to integrate Bitcoin and other currencies into their works will they help add new stakeholders to the crypto world? Because I believe in 10 million viewers, then at least 1 million will want to know why the girl changed her money to Bitcoin, and that will be the beginning of them learning about Bitcoin.

What is your opinion on this?

Actors/actresses are not the one who have the idea to actually integrate Bitcoin or cryoto but the staff of the movie itself, meaning it could be the writers or the director himself, the reason on why they include it in their production could either be that they're supporting the use of crypto or they stand against it in a way where people will actually say that Bitcoin is all a scam.

Also, I think it's pretty much normal to see Bitcoin being joked/criticized inside cartoons/series/movies, and Jason Momoa's new movie seems nice, haven't watched it yet but I definitely will.  Cool

The awareness of bitcoin is widely emphasized. At first it was only known as a scam project but it quickly spread on various social media and now we see it in a movie. It's really amazing. I think it’s hard but there is a possibility that bitcoin will become a currency maybe not in the whole world but in some countries I think.

Bitcoin awareness is global now and is integrated in almost every sectors now so seeing actors making use of bitcoin in one way or the other in movie is normal. But then I also believe that integrating cryptocurrencies (bitcoin) in movies is a positive one because it will give the technology rapid awareness. Through the movie more people will accept the technology and appreciate it also. Bitcoin is the future coin so I expect to see more movies that bitcoin is used as a currency for exchanges and purchasing of properties and savings.
In the past it is very rare to see the term bitcoin or the usage video in television or in big screen. When movies show bitcoin, automatically people who doesn't know about bitcoin will come to know about existence of bitcoin. In my country in the past the word bitcoin can be heard only when there is some negative news with it. Now on every commercial ad session between a program it is possible to see advertisement on bitcoin.

It's a positive thing about crypto, people are no longer wonder if they heard bitcoin or cryptocurrency shouted in a movie because it's everywhere right now. If we compare to 5 or more years before crypto is still not as famous as right now, there are a lot of exchanges with big volume right now which means people could easily buy bitcoin or crypto.
We hope this positivity spread around the world and increasing the demand, and congratulation for a long time holders since years ago  Grin
