so, what id like to do is invest bitcoins to a stock or mutual fund account, but am not sure the best way to go about it. any tips/advice?

I haven't hear yet about some fund account with bitcoins. At least any with good reputation. I think there are not in circulation yet. So this way is to excluded. The stock are to many risks. the only way is to take your bitcoins in your wallet and to wait the increase of price.

buying bitcoin alone is investing itself...
but you can also invest your bitcoin to sites.
likd gambling sites.. or site that really are investing site
and make you earn every hour.
but my advice is before doing so, please check the sites first,
and be sure that it is a legit site or not... bitcoin community will help you a lot.
goodluck.. Tongue

From my experience what i have gain is investing in sites is very risky, it is better that you can buy the bitcoins when the market is crashing and when the market gains the moment and staring to go high , just watch and see that when the crasing moment comes just sell and wait for buying back

sometimes its risky to invest bitcoins because of like ponzi schemes
i've seen talking ppl around here Smiley

Yes if you invest your bitcoin in ponzi then surely you will loose almost everything. So do not invest in those schemes rather just hold up your coins for appreciation to make some profit or you also can try to lend your coins to grow with proper collateral.

The thing with most of these ponzi schemes is that it is the late investors who end up losing all their money. If you are an early investor, who is intelligent enough to decide what is the best time to pull the plug, then these ponzis and HYIPs can turn out to be a boon for you. Off course, the risks are there, so be cautious.

Unfortunately, most people consider themselves to be of "above average" intelligence.
I have seen a lot of people knowingly investing in ponzis and then whining when it goes bust.

Well if you an intelligence person, you will not investing in ponzi, HYIP or MLM Grin

People too greedy and they only want to earn profit with easy way, without research first.

Yeah greed usually screws you over lol.

It pretty much makes you blind, I mean its common sense to observe, but theres people who know that and still put a huge sum into those things.

Hence the cycle continues...

Holding the bitcoin itself is a risk, only if the value drops to zero. But what are the odds of that.

As for your comment on ponzis, its been a common one and they come in different forms.

Esp in the investor rounds section thread where you see people hoping to put 0.01 in and get like some .1 btc back is a bit dumb lol.

my advice is, invest at your own risk! be careful on investing especially those who promise high returns

All business or all method that you can use to grow your money or your coins have a risk, but remember the higher the risk the higher return if the investment or the business will success.

High risk investments means that the investment is having a 20% chance of making a huge profit (~ 10x), and there is a 80% chance of losing all the money. It is like a gamble. The logic is that if you invest $100 each in to ten ventures, on average two of them will give you a 10x return, thereby doubling your capital.
Yeah if you diversify your money and put it in different investment after a few months or years you will earn a big profit and if you lose from other investment i think that your other investment take over your lost form that investment.

Not so sure, I have a rich friend who lost a ton of money in stocks in various different investments.

He told me that its better to just invest something you know yourself that itll make money regardless and buys a bunch of food trucks now.
He's no have a luck on that time ao its strategy may not work or the company that he invested has low successful rate, thats the reason why his investment not worked or failed.

I generally loan bitcoins for small % of interest to grow and earlier used invest in ponzy schemes but not now. They started SCAM people from day one itself.

Well what else would you expect for a ponzi to do lol.

I mean the word ponzi itself should be obvious, and if youre supporting it by giving it loan means you should know this? lol.

I think he thought he'd bate more people in and take a quick buck out as ponzi scheme can still be extremely beneficial if you are a part of it at a limited time and exit at an appropriate time. Its always good to be early, its v unlucky to be late. Poor guy got scammed from the first day itself that's why he mad Tongue Haha, invest in better things bro.

I think Bitcoin in itself is enough of an investment. Invest some capital into bitcoin and earn bitcoin by doing work on the side. The more Bitcoin you save, the more potential wealth you will accumilate in the future. Credit card companies attacking Bitcoin because they were not afraid of it.
