I really do agree on this, I am involved in so many Networking marketing (MLM) and yeah, you need to keep in touch with your downlines even uplines in order to keep up with them, to rank up, and in order to earn money. Also, you need to attend seminars and meetings in order to learn how to attract future investors/downlines/distributors, there are lots of works to do in short which I really hate because I'm too busy with my studies. But in investing in bitcoin, all you need is money, time and a lot of patience in order to earn. This is a lot easier way to earn than do network marketing which eats a lot of time, effort and needs lots of sugar coating words and some lies in order to earn.

Network marketing is referred as Multilevel marketing, it means you need to make more than 1 member in your network and chain will go on. These type of marketing companies are the biggest scam on this earth because they do not own a solid product, their only income is investment coming from members being added into the chain, first they pay good profit to early birds to lure more and more member then all of sudden they disappears.

When you say network marketing if you meant the type of marketing that includes multi-level marketing and pyramid schemes, then screw that. In an ethical and moral standpoint, almost any other marketing type is better than that(besides those greater or similarly scammy ones of course).

An investment into Bitcoin requires ZERO effort in the long run, you do not have to train people or recruit people in your downline or have regular sales targets, like you have with most of these multi level marketing schemes. It is an investment option like any other commodity. People confuse Bitcoin with Ponzi schemes like MLM, because some of these Ponzi schemes use Bitcoin as a payment option.

The two is not even comparable. MLM is very different, you need to sell the companies product and you need to recruit people as your downward in order to make money. Bitcoin is more of a investment vehicle, it is you alone, for whatever strategy you used to get profits out of the market.

It's still sensational to see those MLM/network marketing that acts like they are legit bitcoin investment. They still exist. And everytime I see it on the news that there are thousands..no..millions of people that are scammed, I felt bad and just face palming myself.
And they are fronting that their way of earning and product to make profit is through trading bitcoin and mining. A person that lacks of knowledge about trading and mining will think that it's a sweet word that can give them guarantee of earning but never thought that why would they will allow someone to trade their money?

They are not telling the truth to potential investors of course. Because if they did, no one will fall to their tactics. The OP is right, it is better to take care of your investments and not let those MLM projects take care of your money. If you can't do the work entailed in networking, your investments will not come back to you in a silver platter. Better to control your own money.
The best that we can do is to educate newbies that are not aware of their scam tactics and protect others investment through informing them the potential result of it. But the problem starts if they won't allow us to help them.

Actually, there are so many networking companies in our country who uses bitcoin and mining as a front. They are promising their downlines that the moment the bitcoin's price will pump, they will gonna return their invested money with profits. I know personally someone who fall for this. And I adviced him to just leave the networking marketing company and stand alone or do a self bitcoin investment instead.
The people participating in MLM live the lifestyle called „Fake it till you make it“ and they don’t even make it. So instead of loosing my money 100% in MLM I’d rather put some into bitcoin.

Jeebus if only you saw the MLMs on some or most third world countries. Even high class celebrities are advertising them.

Aside f rom that all that are said to be rich guys who were the fruition of the company are frauds, paid shills, just to deceive people and get their money. My father was one of the victims but now we stopped him already and explain to him how this systems functions and in the end the rich is at the top and he can't possibly just skip to being on that position-in just a matter of time. His hard earned money were lot, but good to hear it wasn't all and he kept some. I'd rather invest my money onto some new altcoins(bitcoin excluded) than to networking.
