Bitcoin was always the most dominant coin in the market. It is the first discovered cryptocurrency in the market and still ranks first among all other cryptocurrencies. I think domination of Bitcoin will rise further in future.

It just shows the trust people put on Bitcoin rather than the Alts. The current situation of the ALT market is due the recent ETF rejection, which is true but it was caused by Bitcoin since a lot of people started holding BTC instead of ALTs because they thought Bitcoin was a much more reliable option to invest on where it caused the dump for the Alts.

Basically in normal market when we see any company offered us good product that time we switch our brand based on the same scenario happen in crypto market like when the price of BTC will high that time many of them wants to buy this coin and they will be switching their coin so it may happen that altcoin may suffer.

There many altcoin available on crypto world but all altcoin are not still matured. That’s why BTC still best to invest but hope altcoin improve gradually and then it will stay neck to neck with BTC.

All altcoin getting melt against of Bitcoin, unfortunately. I hope BTC make bounce from here and we all will start to laugh anymore.
Because almost all altcoins have pairs with BTC on exchanges BTC will always lose less on valuation than altcoins. We should have a decent bounce up in a week or few days from now.

Actually when any coin getting high price people wants s to invest there so if the btc price raise again altcoins users may sell their coin and will try to invest in btc so altcoins may bleed.

BTC Dominance hit 54%
when will this stop?
This bleeding can never be assess on when it will be stopped. Altcoiners are converting their coins to bitcoin as an usual first choice of investors.
We don't know if there's a group buy and sell out there that makes the market bleeding.

Should there be any signal either bull or bear, Investors first will dive for bitcoin. When market stabilizes, they return to their alt-coins. They tend to have more trust on the price of bitcoin as a defense against market trend.

Bitcoin dominance in this crypto market and they are belongs in the top position of this market. Altcoins are under bitcoin and these coins are also risky than bitcoin. That’s why bitcoin is so much popular among the peoples.

If we compare bitcoin with altcoins then we can find out bitcoin is far ahead from altcoins but it also true altcoins are not bad. Peoples are also investing on altcoins.

again for the millionth time your problem is that you are looking at market capitalization and then call it dominance. that is NOT dominance. the dominance of bitcoin has always been near 100% and it has always been "investors first choice", this is not a choice they made yesterday. they have made this choice a long time ago and it has remained that way and it is mainly because the top altcoins are so bad and everyone except newbie bag holders already knows this!

it is called "pump and dump" not just pump and always pump. when an altcoin gets pumped, after a while it starts getting dumped. but for big altcoins like ETH for example the dump was slowed down to a near halt for a long time because the advertising campaign has been active and was telling the bag holders to bag hold and they listened thinking they will become rich.

All of this time the investors only invest in alt coins for profit, so when something is wrong or they have  a better project then they will sell the coin and moved on, and when they sell their coin most of them will back to bitcoin, bitcoin still the best option to invest in crypto, the fame and the adoption in some countries are the prove, and when all investors back to bitcoin then alt coin will be drop down significantly

Of course Bitcoins is natural the first investors choice because it is already tested profitable and strong digital coin in crypto market. Even there are potential altcoins in the market investors are very careful to invest those coins. They give  priority in investing in bitcoin because they know bitcoin has a tendency to rise up so high more than its price before.

We have had upto 30 billion $ leave the market capitalization yet bitcoin holds above 6100$, the result is that the altcoins are bleeding out badly and bitcoin's dominance soaring higher than usual? when will this stop?

We are all wlaware how bitcoin tend to be legendary in this art of cryptocurrencies that is why there is no doubt that it can possibly lead to the choices or most priority of cryptocurrency investors. Although altcoins are giving enough value to beat bitcoin, loyalty cannot disrupt it.

Its because most of the investors leave altcoins but not bitcoin since most altcoins have just now turned to be pump and dump coins and could not deliver anything more than that.
Even when most alts are pump and dumps, they're still profitable and that's why some of them have an absurdly high market cap which kinda attracts investors since you can expect some profits.

But I don't think that (people dumping alts because they're PnD) explains what we're seeing today (or over the last couple of months). I think  the current decline in the altcoin market is due to the fact that the altcoin market has been going through a bearish trend, making the Bitcoin market the more profitable and appealing market.

when will this stop?
Who knows? But you need to understand that this sort of trends occur from time to time. There was an altcoin cycle where the BTC dominance wouldn't go past 40%, and this cycle went on for about 3 months (April-May-June), now alts have entered a bearish trend whereas Bitcoin is on the verge of a bullish trend. Maybe this altcoin downtrend will stop once Bitcoin goes full bullish mode and altcoins follow the uptrend.

In my opinion,  I would prefer to invest btc this time as I believe it it will make a bullish market  before the gear ends. Altcoins only follows the improvement of btc and that is why alts are still currently down.

Too man alts which vague promises. Nice ideas but fail to deliver. Its somehow good this is happening. Only alts with good foundation will stand the test of time.

The altcoins have to prove why they came. Bitcoin gains more credibility every day, already has futures contracts and probably will have ETF, this is an air of legality that attracts many investors. Most altcoins have to show the solutions they want to implement so they can be more independent of Bitcoin.

If you are an investor,  definitely you would have to chosen btc too because this crypto has more advantage than the altcoins with respect to price growth. Though btc is quite expensive than alts,  but the return of investment is much greater compared to altcoins.
