Uhhh... ok.

If you were here in the beginning you'll know the term alt came about once other coins started appearing (Ixcoin, I0coin etc etc)

Thing is, sure there is innovation in some of the new coins, but MOST of the time.. it is "just another alt shit clone"

Feel free to get off you pedestal anytime now.. not sure who your target audience is with this post.. believe it or not there are people here that are much smarter than you...

I don't think so. Bitcoin is the main crypto and all others are alternatives to it. Why fight over it though?

Bitcoin isn't an alternative to Peercoin.. Peer coin is an alternative to Bitcoin.

Do you know what the word alternate means?

So please next time something innovative is made don't just go, oh that's just another altcoin. Actually use your heads and look at the technology for what it's worth.

I let the innovatives of altcoins test by others, and only if the altcoin take substantial Bitcoin market share Im gonna look more in detail for the altcoin. So far nothing interesting popped up, Bitcoin market share still way above 90%

I saved a lot of time (and Bitcoins Smiley) following this strategy

cryptopath the under 18yo kid that doesnt think before he posts, has yet again started another topic that has no purpose but to make him look worse then people already believe he is.

..  mods please lock these boring and pointless topics that make no sense and offer nothing insightful

Exactly what I expected once you have no way to argue with my irrefutable facts you try to change the subject with completely irrelevant information and then try to call in the mods to help you.

Use your head for once man, you might learn a thing or two.

Bitcoin is an altcoin to Peercoin and Peercoin is an altcoin to Bitcoin.

Do all of you understand what "alt" means? It stands for alternate.

So when shown some new technology in crypto I get annoyed when people go, oh it's just another alternate.

Bitcoin is also an alternate to other technologies.  I hate how all of you are acting like the current bitcoin protocol is the end all be all project in the crypto scene. Satoshi brought true innovation and all of you are acting like there can't be any more for some reason.

So please next time something innovative is made don't just go, oh that's just another altcoin. Actually use your heads and look at the technology for what it's worth.

This idiotic thought process that some of you posses is exactly why a lot of you and a lot of people didn't get in early on Bitcoin. Because when faced with something new your underdeveloped/underpowered brains don't know how to process everything and you immediately call scam or fail on what you can't understand.

Uhm..... no.  Bitcoin is a cryptrocurrency and altcoins are cryptocurrency, but Bitcoin is not an altcoin.  The "alt" means "alternate to bitcoin".

Bitcoin is Bitcoin and all other coins are alts.
