I'm not surprised that there are some countries who are not supporting Bitcoin but this is a fact that Bitcoin has been introduced to many countries around the world already.

Now the question is will the people use Bitcoin in the future? Yeah, they know it but will they use it? But anyway, I'm happy that many countries legalized Bitcoin already.

It may be de jure illegal in less than a dozen nations, but that is not the complete story. It is de facto illegal in a number of other important nations such as China and India, where the legislation is getting more restrictive with every passing week about the crypto usage.
And some countries that have not provided a response certainly does not mean they legalize bitcoin. if many countries legalize as said to reach 100 countries, of course the influence is very large for the market, while at present the market is still weak due to lack of support

I think the whole lot of countries that are listed as legal status for bitcoin are just positive for it as digital assets. Otherwise, if all create legal status for bitcoin, then the acceptance level would have grown more than what we have today. I think most of them are just positive.
the digital era has become more evident if we have seen many countries that use bitcoin as a means of buying and selling them. So the world single currency will soon be realized in place of the dollar that has been used by all world trade activities. this is good news for all multinational entrepreneurs, they will avoid dependence on the dollar that has been controlled by the Americans.

That's seems so good if there is around 111 countries that legalized bitcoin to be used, And fortunately that my country is one of them. I think sooner or later bitcoin will be used in the whole world as this technology will dominate and the uses of real money will be like a traditional way to pay in the future. This it will be happen when the internet will be used worldwide and also when the bitcoin community will be more larger.

"According to findings from Coin Dance, there are currently at least 111 countries where Bitcoin is legal. In many others, Bitcoin’s legal status is up for question or the currency is subject to some restrictions.
...
Currently, it says Bitcoin is illegal in only the following ten countries or regions: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Pakistan, Qatar, Republic of Macedonia, Saudi Arabia, Vanuatu, and Vietnam.
...
There are a further nine countries where Bitcoin is classified as “restricted” according to the site. Of these nine, the two most prominent examples are China and India."

Amazing how bitcoin makes an expression to the world knowing that there are only 10 countries who are against it. 111 to 10 is not bad and we can take that percentage as an isolated case. We cannot help those people with a different perception in crypto. Just hope those 111 countries will change those whose 10.

Trading Bitcoin is legal in most of the countries .Japan is legal to Bitcoin, Nigeria too is legal for Bitcoin trading .In Indonesia Bitcoin trading is not allowed but they will bring regulations and there are some restrictions regarding Bitcoin trading and in Vietnam Bitcoin trading is legal . Bitcoin is illegal in countries like Afghanistan ,Algeria,Bangladesh ,Bolivia ,Pakistan ,,Qatar ,Republic of Macedonia ,Saudi Arabia. ,and Vanuatu .Bitcoin is restricted in China and India and in rest of the countries  by the creator.Bitcoin is legal the biggest fact that makes Bitcoin acceptable is the vision behind it by the creator .

Yeah, governments are being pretty open minded as a regular rule.

With some exceptions, especially some "authoritarian" regimes which try to release their own Virtual Currency and for that reason they normally don't like competition in that aspect.

Now the thing is waiting for it to stabilize and then for more wide adoption to come and we will use it regularly without any issues from my point of view.

It is according to a preliminary understanding of some countries in the world. Our country is on the list of countries that accept Bitcoin, but this is not true. Legally my country is a country that has a standard set up with Bitcoin. You have ownership of Bitcoin or Altcoin but are not allowed to use it for life exchanges involving FIAT exchanges.

At least from a legal stand point, there are more support for bitcoin than there are against it. The regions where it is currently restricted is likely to be more in support of it in the coming years.
Even without the current legal acceptance, it would only take a while for bitcoin to be a truly global currency, it beats all other forms of money in terms of efficiency

Very interesting fact.
I'm not sure where is my country here.
Central bank recently issued statement that bitcoi is not currency, money or financial asset.
Though your country's central bank has stated it isn't a currency, money or a financial asset you're using it through one way or the other. This is how people in most of the countries around the globe spend and make use of bitcoin as well other cryptocurrencies. Perfectly legal countries with governments support is very small in number in my opinion.

What is meant in this case is mostly the use of Bitcoin or cryptocurrency and traded with real goods such as purchases in stores, malls, restaurants, hotels or other with Bitcoin payments. In an illegal country it may be more against wanting to protect their own country's currency

It sounds great to see such a good number of countries have legalised btc. However, I can see my country in light green but just today, there was a news that the parliament will be passing a bill to illegalised btc use in my country

Bitcoin is already been known worldwide and we can not deny the fact that it has a positive impact in our industry that is why that 111 countries are not against bitcoin. Thus, trying to accept bitcoin as cryptocurrency and as a blockchain technology. Therefore, the greatness of bitcoin is being adopted all over the world.
It is important to mention that most of those 111 countries are also not for bitcoin. The fact that BTC is legal there only tells us that you won't get in jail and government won't take your money just because you have some cryptocurrencies.
Most of those countries still don't have a payment infrastructure and cryptocurrencies are not really spreaded there. So it basically means that nothing really happened.

I don't understand why Vietnam is on the list where Bitcoin is illegal. There's a cryptocurrency exchange that is already operating there.

Like what most of them have told the top country which have legalized have not declared bitcoin as currency but it is treated as digital asset and dealing in it is taxed on digital asset base. The country where it is legal or restricted by government is due to that they are fearing about is misuse and money laundering problems.

In time, they will change the regulations towards crypto assets.
Once they fully understood the concept behind it, they might change their laws.
And I think crypto adoption will expand to more countries in few years. Giving good chance for crypto to grow naturally.

i don't know how or where you gathered your information from but then it is good to know there are lots of countries where bitcoin is legal and i believe there are still some you may have omitted. I do hope few years from now we will see bitcoin being used by everyone across the globe instead of having some countries legalize it while some don't
