(i do not want to buy above 70, so i HOPE -->) "bitcoin is dead"

Bitcoin was down to almost $70 after its high of $266 (down almost 75% from the high).

The price would have to be down to $310 for us to be at the same point of despair as April 2013.

(And then there is 2011 when the price dropped 95% from its high of $32)

Can you hang?

A few days before that, Bitstamp touched $45, meaning it was down from the high by about 83%.  We'd have to hit around $196.75 to be at that point.

Bitcoin has died.

Memorial plans will be announced shortly.
Thanks for letting me know, I was unaware.

This happened so suddenly; it was only this morning I was using it to pay my VPN provider.

RIP  Cry

I love you guys, your all crazy bulls until something gets cheap then suddenly your bears.

Either your trying to play the game or you are incredibly short sighted if you think a bubble will destroy bitcoin, bubbles are to be expected.

Bitcoin is dead...

Like what? Those antiquities people pay thousands for? Like the old Z80 games?

I'm sure they'll write hundreds of books about Bitcoin if it crashes. They will study it in economy classes. But it won't happen. Gold didn't died.
bitcoin is nothing

its not real, its virtual
it could very well disappear

Isn't the first block unspendable?

I didn't know that.  I just remember reading things that made it sound like it was spendable.  Anyways, moving up a block:
12c6DSiU4Rq3P4ZxziKxzrL5LmMBrzjrJX still has its 50 coins.  Same principle.

bitcoin fails anyway

thats why satoshi left dev and cashed out

When this address:
1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa
(http://blockchain.info/block-index/1)
is zeroed out, I'll believe he actually cashed out.
