The Russian can also mine bitcoin to convert Ruble to into bitcoin. I think the electricity price there is very cheap.

The show is just started guys, don't try to shot it down! Smiley I believe we'll see another bubble in 2015, if you buy your Bitcoins higher than this level you'll have another chance to make some money. If you're able to have more patience, in 4 or 5 years you'll gain more and more money. Just a little patience...

It is crazy to hear Bitcoin is dead because the price is 350$. 350$ is a 4Billions market cap it's very big since the market cap has never been more than 12Billions.

Take a bet, hold then enjoy.

People here are always so fixated on the short term fluctuations of the prices.

Bitcoin trend is positive. Consider that the last year before the big bubble price was around 200$, now is 350$. Hope that the next year we will see something of good Smiley

23 months ago the price was in the 2digits.

This is how I like to look at it. It's still very early days for bitcoin and it's value in the grand scheme of things. I think people wont be so worried within 2 years or so, people just need patience.

If you bought the same amount every day in 2014 you probably bought at around 400$ which is a very big price compared to 2013 and it doesn't mean it won't be 4000$ in 2years and/or 40,000$ in 5.

It's amazing really isn't it, when people finally get the stability they've been bitching for all of a sudden Bitcoin is dead and isn't going anywhere, I can still freely trade and spend my Bitcoins and nothing is wrong with how the network works, so I don't think it's dead.

I agree with you. I much prefer a stable lower price than a wildly fluctuating price that is sometimes higher and sometimes lower. The most important function of a currency is a stable store of value. I crave predictability.

even if bitcoin price was 1$ it would not be dead, because price is not related to its technology

That's correct. When we hit $1 in 2011 we thought we were on the freaking moon!
Bitcoin is a computer program and does not want your money or care about my desires for price.

I really don't get why people think it is dead?  Can someone elaborate?

The price hasn't changed (much) in roughly 1.5 months.  It doesn't appear to be going down and organizations seem to keep picking it up.  I would love to hear some valid reasons!

well, IMO Bitcoin isn't dead, yet. It's doing exactly what it has done for the last 4 years.

Honestly, have you checked the 3 day trend for Btc on Bitcoinwisdom? You better get some fiat. 1/4 of your portflio to be safe. It might skyrocket back up.. but people need to pay those yearly loans they made for all that toaster btc equipment they bought!

Long as there is a community Bitcoin is not dead. The technology does not depend on price to work.
