What made you say that and think that bitcoin is dead? Is it because the value and price of bitcoin has fallen lately? That shouldn't be the case. I still believe bitcoin will rise again no matter what. Its not going to die anytime soon. Bitcoin will survive.

I wonder why this guy said that but I believe bitcoin is never dead. I do agree that bitcoin price is low recently due to the current state of the market but it is going to rise soon.

I wonder what did he say when he saw the price of BTC and all the hype after a year since he said BTC was dead. That is one good proof that predictions don't mean a thing.

At that time, Mr Hearn did have patience. If it was today, the thing would be differently said.

Such statements that make people very famous in the world of cryptocurrency are always very confusing. Most people tend to trust such statements. But sometimes it may turn out that this is just a manipulation. I think this is exactly this case when you should not trust these words.

Despite the fact that Mike Hearn is a very famous person and that many people trust his words, I think that one should not take his words too seriously. I think this is more emotion than common sense.

Why can think that bitcoin can die while this is just the first phase. Whether you want it or not, nobody can stop the progress of history,

Bitcoin have worldwide user group - let say 400 000 - 600 000 active users and that's enough for Bitcoin ability to survive. So Mike Hearn speak something very strange. Plus Bitcoin have also TOP position in all crypto.  Grin

Well regarding to this rumors that they are spreading saying that Bitcoin will be dead or should I say that bitcoin is dead then I Could say that all of this are just negative publicity from people who are against of bitcoin or maybe people who are unhappy of the crypto market today.

Bitcoin Classic rolls out, and days later there is no word about it in the News Media.

Mike Hearn declares Bitcoin dead and within hours it is in the New York Times.....
http://www.nytimes.com/2016/01/17/business/dealbook/the-bitcoin-believer-who-gave-up.html

Mark my words: Bitcoin is getting ready to be in a fight for it's life.

On one side are the Blockstream/Core players.  Liars, manipulators, shill, not afraid to destroy the fabric of Bitcoin with every bit of FUD they can dredge up - even if it kills bitcoin, but if they can't have total control, no one can.

On the other side you have Mike Hearn w/R3CEV/Hyperledger/Banks (AND Mainstream Media & Govt backing - don't forget that!)

We are at the start of a foot race to see who gets ready forst for the upcoming global financial meltdown.

It's pretty clear that Bitcoin Classic will prevail in the upcoming March Fork given the huge amount of support / concensus for it.  But Blockstream seems to wat to make this a do or die fight, and they appear to be willing to destroy the good name of bitcoin if they don't get their way.  The looming battle may be the perfect backdrop of confusion and chaos for a Fiat Coin to rise from the shadows, and with the help of Gov't & Media nods - be introduced to the masses.

Fasten your seatbelts kiddies.... this is going to be a wild ride.  Right now I am betting 50% on Classic / 50% on Fiat Coin.  Current 1mb Blockstream/Core Coin not even worth mentioning in my opinion.  I see 0.001%.

Wow how quickly the New York Times gets on this.  Where were they for positive news. I believe that you are right that it is time to buckle up. He does have some valid points but this is a little nuts.  Is it true that after walking out of a store you can reverse a bitcoin transaction from the seller??

bull news dont sales well. bear news can create panic and people will follow blindly. pure selective misinformation.

I hope that this prolonged conflict will end soon, because of course it greatly affects world market prices. and hopefully one of them can succumb to each other. so that a safe, conducive and peaceful atmosphere will be created, as has been implemented by the social justice system for all levels of the world community.

Only if most people bought BTC as a hard currency and not in the form of the virtual assets you mentioned above, which does not mean real security, but \ I'm sure soon everything will be close to reality.

Bitcoin never dies, is moving slowly and steadily. Talking about Bitcoin, everyone realized that it was an excellent opportunity for those who seek wealth and risk. If you think Bitcoin is dead, get out of here, do not worry you've lost a chance.

Yes I agree with you. Bitcoin does not die, is moving slowly and steadily. Because of the decrease in bitcoin prices, bitcoin prices have increased significantly in the same month compared to last year. However, now crypto market prices are low and Bitcoin prices are low, but it is expected that the price of Bitcoin will be better in the last month of this year.

Well this is already concluded that Bitcoin did not die but it multiply that it reach ATH of almost $20,000 last year that even in this bearish market condition we can see that the Bitcoin is much alive that although currently in difficult but still Bitcoin is not dead.

Hopefully that doesn't happen, I'm also sure of the long-term bitcoin that will continue to exist and exist in the cryptocurrency world.

It's very funny how they will try every means possible to bring bitcoin down so that they can promote their shit versions of bitcoin which has poor security systems and technology. Well they can continue with the FUD but one thing is for sure, bitcoin is very strong and it will not die.
