I hold

But with how much bad press Mt. Gox is pushing to try and save their own asses, I don't care if they become the largest exchange, 0 fee's, instant deposit. I'll never touch those douche bags again.
They are in it purely for the money, Their willingness to hang bitcoin to save some face, proves they don't believe in the coin, simply want profit.

If you believe in Bitcoin then use this opportunity to buy more. Or just hodl the coins you've got. Bitcoin always bounces back.

Price has increased now as Bitstamp enabled withdrawals.Lets see what happens next.

from bitstamp web site:

Dear Bitstamp clients,

A denial-of-service attack caused us to suspend the processing of Bitcoin withdrawals. Bitstamp, with help from the Bitcoin core developers, has implemented a solution that passes our preliminary tests and audits.

After additional testing, we plan to enable Bitcoin withdraws later today.

Thank you for your understanding!

Best regards,

The Bitstamp team

They are all falling, cuz people think that your cryptocurrencies can be stollen easily as late news may seem to newbies.
They are also falling because Gox is dragging the prices down, If I had my money there I would've sold or transfered long ago. They were at $300 today Cheesy

Yes, "mtgox price" is dropping due to the fact probably most part of mtgox users are selling their BTC stored on their mtgox wallet. Probably this price drop will end as soon as at least 65% of mtgox users will sell all their "mtgox stored BTCs" and none will store anymore BTC on mtgox. At that point all BTC/USD Market will return more stable and price drop should end

Make sure I have enough money to do what I wish to do for the year and pay my taxes so I don't get forced into liquidating at an inopportune time (or get a job .)  Thankfully I basically did that in January.  Now the strategy is basically to hodl like a mo-fo and see if the storm blows over.  All the rest of them have over the years and the valuations have come back with a vengeance.  Hopefully this time will be the same.

it is the world of big BTC/fiat exchangers who is falling, not BTC.

Actually it seems that only 2 big BTC exchangers suspended BTC withdrawals (mtgox and bitstamp).

They was using heavily modified bitcoin daemons to allow thousand of authomatic transcations per hour, and their coders understimate a small and inconsistent bug like "transaction malleability" https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Transaction_Malleability.

This bug can affect only big BTC exchangers, and not small ones who take care manually for each BTC withdrawal.

Anyway, now they are working to fix it.

Both BTC and official bitcoin-qt wallet are in good health.

Bitcoin price is falling every minute. It was $642 20 hours back and now its $595.It seems it will fall more. What do you suggest?Should we buy some ALT currency with our BTC that doesn't seem to fall steeply and then buy bitcoin later with it when it stabilizes.Which currency do you suggest?
I considered Litecoin but its falling in price as well!
