I never knew being up 267% from last year on this exact date meant the demise of Bitcoin.   Cry

I gotta revise my outlook on things.

I highly doubt the death of bitcoin is on the horizon. The long term fundamentals for bitcoin are stronger than ever. Forget about the short term price swings.

The question should have been.... Why Bitcoin is not going to die?

Nice question. Bitcoin is not going to die, in my opinion, because is the answer to tons of problems and questions regarding the ecommerce and various services offered on the web. Bypassing the classic bank system.

Bitcoin could die but the underlying technology definitely will not.

When bitcoin dropped from $30 to $2, people started really freaking out.

Honestly, until the value of bitcoin hits the value of dogecoin / some random altcoin, it'll live.

That's unless some altcoin magically has a much better feature-set.

My personal opinion is that it wont die,Bitcoin will become more popular Smiley

crazy, hope you are right

LitecoinGuy, sounds like your losing hope? This is just another bear time. Hold and/or Buy.... If I could buy more, I would.. If it gets cheap enough ill be able to.

BTW, I never read that thread as to why everyone spells Holding Hodling.. Now I know, great post...even if he was a bit drunk.

With paypal starting to implement bitcoin into its payment system, you willmost likely see a rise in price because bitcoins will be available to a larger audience now.

these days bitcoin  falls, is it going to die?

Do people like yourself just sit around thinking of negative things to post on this board? Did you make a new account just so you could post another "Bitcoin is going to fail" post?

Well, look at it this way. A financial collapse of catastrophic proportions will happen in our lifetimes. When this happens, and it WILL happen, BTC will rocket to the moon. So one could argue that BTC is a guaranteed investment to yield huge returns. Just how long you have to wait is the question. And i'm not talking about BTC price increasing as a result of of the devaulaton of the $.
This did happen, in 2008. The collapse that happened in 2008 is roughly a once per 100 year event. It would be very unlikely that we see another financial panic in the next 50 - 60 years (the span of the rest of most of our lifetimes).
