No this wont make any major price changes. It's good news but nothing that will make people buy coins. Not this alone at least.

This is old news (apple policy change). Plus, nothing short of bitcoin opening on nasdaq tomorrow would could such a sudden giant unnatural shift in trend as that.

It is still a very positive news like expedia, monoprix, yahoo finance
Yes, thats right, but it is not enough for now. Think the price is going to400$ and will stay for some time like this. Hope will be700 in a few weeks.

Up down, up down, this is the life of BTC for a while. One day it will be stable.

If apple started accepting for everything and launched their own super fast low rates exchange, that would get $700 but we all dream.

I don't think even that would do it. As we've seen over and over, merchant adoption just doesn't have anywhere near the immediate price impact that we expect it to. This is because there is no immediate increase in bitcoin usage because of this. New users don't start using bitcoin right away just because a merchant adopted it - it is mostly existing bitcoin users having one extra way to spend (dump) their coins. Eventually it manifests as growth but not right away. I'm not saying adoption is bad; I'm just saying it doesn't have the immediate effect that you'd expect. There is no technical force behind an immediate effect.

Infrastructure improvements to broaden the exchange system, on the other hand, do have an immediate effect - this is because the in-flow of money and ability of new users to enter the system is increased.

Agreed, increase is always slow if the drive is from new users/routes. Its always a shame in markets that the drop is so much quicker than the climb. A nice stable price with plenty of trade/spend option is a much nicer dream than sky high flaky prices.

Or if Obama announced "Start buying bitcoin or you are going to die!"
