I think if something replaces Bitcoin as the most popular option does not mean it will fall in price as well.
Who knows. What we know today is the most commonly used and most popular cryptocurrency. In the future, improvements can be made to Bitcoin and we can see other coins taking their place. But, at the moment there are no signs of this and Bitcoin is a leader with quite a bit.

No it may not be because of it's old fashioned and not improving technology. (Mining of course, not the blockchain) There are multiple altcoins that are candidates to be the coin of future.. BUT (a big but!) Bitcoin is the father of crypto currencies. It's the enterance of Alice's WonderLand. Others followed Bitcoin adding new futures. This doesn't mean they will be better than Bitcoin and also doesn't mean Bitcoin will die... It's the beginning of our future both as a payment method and the currency itself...

for me bitcoin is the new coin of the future though it was was born way back 2019 but still this is the future coin many are still against bitcoin and still many are support in bitcoin , because of the trust i put in bitcoin now i made my own future with bitcoin because before i was a service crew earning below minimum wage which it not enough then i met bitcoin and he changed my future and 3 has past now i am financially stable bitcoin will make my life more decent and stress free
