in a couple of years, maybe 5 or more we will see a huge rise in adoption and then in price of bitcoin. and that is something that we should want today to collect while it is still cheap.

It depends on how you plan to collect it. If you are referring to faucets, definitely not worth it. If you are referring to signature campaigns, this will depend on the time you have available and, of course, it depends on how much they pay you.

Yes it depends upon on how you will get it. Faucets are just a waste of time, it is really not worth it if you are just an ordinary claimer even you do had a lot of referrals. Still that is not going to be a good way of collecting bitcoins, unless you are going to own a popular faucet that can cater 1,000 visitors and claimers that's going to be worth it.

First of all we are not collecting the same amount. And second more important is how much 5 $ worth for each person here? For some people its working day on daily job, for others its pocket change. For me personally working for bitcoins its worth my time. From comments here it seems like it`s worth for people who are resourceful and clever to find a way.

I have a daily job, and bitcoin is perfect hobby that brings some income to me. Yes its worth for me, especially potential of bitcoin, all I have can worth much more one day, investment for the future.
We spend time one way or another, why to not doing something useful then.

This works for us who have no time to go to some bank or to a broker to talk about other investment that can help us grow our income. In here, we can do it ourselves and we can also manage it easily just thru internet. This is really the convenient way for busy people.

Bitcoin is good, and I earn the same amount as my salary online through bitcoins. But I still want to stick with my salary since it is stable and fix compare to my earnings in bitcoin which is not stable due to volatility and the issues concerning bitcoin. But if I am allowed to choose two, I will choose both since it is much better to have a salary from jobs and at the same time earning bitcoins in my sideline that way I can provide my family's need better.
Yes, besides in your job you also get other benefits besides just money, like social security, retirement fund may be even some of your expenses on gasoline or food are covered by your job, and maybe you get access to a mobile phone or computer.

What do you mean by collect? I would recommend for you daily job and then from money you earn, buy bitcoin.
Collecting from faucets or any other means are far far far less efficent than actually working and buying bitcoin from your payroll.
But I will recommend him for collecting bitcoins like working for earning bitcoins rather than doing a daily job for fiat because in some places the fiat salaries are much lower than what we earn in bitcoin especially in trading bitcoins.
In fact, some methods may be more efficient for people living in countries where the local currency is undervalued. But even for these people, it can be difficult to get the same payoff as regular job, unless the person is working for a more serious Bitcoin business, or if the person has his own business.
I don't think this is about if the currency is undervalued or overvalued this boils down simply to how much is the average salary that you can hope to get in your country and how much you can get with bitcoin.

It is worth spending time earning bitcoin , but
It is not the best way to use time.
For few people who are young can include this as a good way to use time .
But for aged People it might not be resourceful.

It is worth spending.  Even giving up you day job and focus on bitcoin if you are earning much more than your day job.  Bitcoin, if we study gives us a vast selection of opportunity.  trader, gambler, coder, marketer, merchant, etc.  It is just a matter of time when we see our effort spending collecting bitcoin is well rewarded.  Just keep on collecting until we have enough to secure our family financial status.

it has been more than worth it to invest in bitcoin so far. with the continued adoption and the over time growth all around the world price will continue to go up.
these days newer countries that we never thought are adopting bitcoin, Indians are so interested in investing in bitcoin, i have seen lots of interest coming from Africa also. all these will only lead to higher prices long term.
i think you can see the lover of bitcoin not only from India and Africa. but you can see the love of bitcoin from all over the world. i know even some people from Iran and Saudi Arabia who are interested in bitcoin.

Cryptoanalyzer, where do you live? Is there much you can buy with bitcoin in your area? I'm talking about living expenses. What's your monthly income compared to the average in your area?

If businesses don't generally accept bitcoin in your area then you need to be getting paid in your local fiat currency. To get paid in bitcoin and then have to convert it to Euros or whatever is just going to cost you money - in fees and fluctuations in the price of bitcoin.

My Advice:

Whatever you do best to earn money - focus more on it, develop your depth of knowledge and ability in that field. As soon as you can, ditch the multiple jobs and focus on just one an do it as well as you can so you can get paid as much local currency for it as possible. You can use some of that to buy bitcoin when you see the price drop to attractive levels and you spend time on the forum posting (constructively of course) for payment in bitcoin, a small side income.

Don't forget to give us an update! Cheers.

I think it is always the question how much time you need to collect a certain amount of bitcoins.
Faucets for example I do not think they are worth it. At least for most people.
Claiming 100 satoshis in one minute, that is simply not enough. Especially when you consider that you might harm your computer with malweare.
I think it makes sense to compare the time you need to collect bitcoins to the time you would need for the same amount in a regular job.
If those are about even, collecting bitcoins makes sense. If you earn more in a regular job, then do the job and buy bitcoins from your money.

Of course, it is worth spending time to collect some bitcoin, because it's very valuable nowadays. If you collect some bitcoins today, one day you can see a new value of bitcoin more higher than today.

I prefer bitcoin. because bitcoin can be used as a job so we can get revenue from the investment bitcoin.
This is so fun, you use bitcoin as a currency and also a job.
Well for some it could possibly make as a job even for those people who dont have a job since bitcoin does really have a value and could able to earn online but its not really a guarantee to sustain for too long and making it as a source of income on daily living since it do really have risk since bitcoins price is unstable.

Loosing in investment, HYIP, and trading but not in long term investment. As you can see when the bitcoin starts you can buy many bitcoin in only 1$ but now as you can see the market meets the pick price 1000$+. So you can win in the bitcoin with long term investment. Store ut and spend it next next years so you can win a lot from it.

Absolutely worth the time! If anyone feels that it is not worth the time, then please donate your bitcoins to me and I will take good care of them. Look at the growth of bitcoin over the years. Compare the prices and then take a call.

Bitcoin has a huge upside potential and it is accounted for over 84% of total crypto currency market. If this statistics is not enough for you, then just leave. You are not worth to bitcoin.
