I would not really use this analogy. Heroin long term kills you, Bitcoin probably will just make you rich long term, which is quite the opposite of death.

If you don't die from a heart attack in the process, of course. But when you are rich, then you can buy a new heart. There is little that money cannot buy, right? So Bitcoin seems to be a worthy piece of shit after all.

Retarded.. more idiotic noob bullshit BTC rhetoric.

It's more like housing derivative bundles from 2007 that crashed the worlds economy and created wide spread inflation and tax payer bail outs.

Or any traditional scam like a Water Filter scam from the 80's or 90's.

If you mean jumping into a digital new ages scam variant for FIAT cash money profits is addictive then yeah i bet.
Morality much assholes ?
Don't sit there and pretend you give a fuck about Bitcoin.
You care about money.. REAL MONEY.

According to me we can say that its addictive like heroin but it is much better than this. BTC is like a life saver. Many people work on it and earn for there family. Everyone in this world want to earn more and BTC give them opportunities but in other hand heroine is only responsible for destroy our life's. So there is no comparison between heroin and BTC.

Just like heroin or crack cocaine, it creates an addiction.

Same as was gambling

Many in here seem to have been caught up in it, spending far too much of their money on something. Partially to get the dopamine rush of buying more coin, and partially to satisfy their gambling lust hoping to score big.

It is no different than the people gambling their savings away on the roulette. Right now we are at the point where they have entered the casino and have been lucky, so they are up more money than they came. But instead of quitting while they are ahead they genuinely believe that their luck continues.

In the end it ends bad.
yeah im agree with your opinion.Im experienced it myself when my family experienced economic distress and I was introduced bitcoin by my friend. and that's when bitcoin become hero in my life by raising my economy.and now i havent some trouble economy now and im glad after i became a bounty hunter now ^^

Couldn't agree more, Not only bitcoin it's cryptocurrency, I am so addicted to it, I neglected all my other online business and at least 10hrs a day I am in front of my pc trading crypto

Same here. My family thinks that I lost my mind. Either phone or laptop is always in front of me. Checking the prices all the time. Checking coinmarketcap all the time. It really looks like heroin from addiction point of view.

I dont think that you can compare Bitcoin with drugs. Drugs make you physically addicted. I would say bitcoin is like gambling, it can make you mentally addicted. But that can just happen when your weak in your mind. So you have to stay strong and HODL!

In my opinion as based in my situation, Bitcoin is not an addiction of mine but it is a channel that gives me an opportunity to have a part time job as a student to sustain my biological needs, subsistence responsibilities and personal care which makes me determined and motivated to keep going on using Bitcoin. It gives me a lot of benefits unlike "heroine" which contain chemicals that shouldn't be taken by an individual for it is destructive to the human body. As for their legality they are both not legalize but still accepted to different parts of the world. Regardless of the matter, when addiction kicks in it is deleterious.

For me, bitcoin is like an addiction that is very hard to be removed in my daily system. I always check my investments online whether what time of the day it is. I will continue on engaging towards bitcoin for a long time.
I also like that is addicted to bitcoin and very difficult to remove because I already feel the benefits of bitcoin itself so there is no reason for me to stop there because I also always want more

I can understand the addiction comparision. Addictions function similarly no matter what they are to. Heroin just happens to pretty much 99% have a bad outcome. At least there's a decent chance at Bitcoin paying off, unless someone really does invest way more than they can afford to at a bad time or doesnt pay attention. I could see that going bad. Anyone know of any deaths from Bitcoin? lol

It seems like right, it is really becoming an addiction like heroin. You cannot do without checking market every minute.

I agree with you. Being hooked into bitcoin is not considered as addiction such as gambling or drugs. Also the effects is very different, being onto bitcoin will make you more richer and will not kill you.
The point of addiction to Bitcoin is a positive and useful thing. This is the fundamental difference for Bitcoin and Heroin. For me Bitcoin has given so many benefits like Improving the economy in my life. If being an addict then Bitcoin has spurred me to do much better than before, oh yes I also want to always work hard because one thing I think is that I can earn more income when I can take advantage of every opportunity that exists.

I beg to differ on this point as I believe that blockchain based currency/payment system is a revolutionary thing in the modern world and it has a real sense of democracy, freedom and technological advancements in it so comparing it with the drugs is not a good idea in my opinion. However, things are chaotic at this point and some (probably most of us) are willing to earn gains from it. There is nothing wrong in exploiting the opportunities but there is a huge difference between scientific research based trading and random trading.
