Bitcoin is the currency. You can not say money is gambling. But if you capitalize your money and turn it into bitcoin this is gambling.
If you are putting money down randomly without any understanding of the underlying technology and how it all works... it could be considered "gambling".
It all depends on if you are trading, are in for the long term and what information you have at a given time.
That being said it is always a risk involved so make sure you have an out if something goes the wrong way ( for example having your stop loss in place is a good way to manage risk).

I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.
Bitcoin is not a gambling, its a currency. Gambling is only an aspect of using bitcoin but the bitcoin itself it's not a type of gambling. Gambling is one of the idea to gain bitcoin by betting on online gambling sites.

Yes like that, in gambling the number 1000 will be lost if we lose, but if it wins it can be 2000, 5000 or others, but bitcoin is not gambling because the reduced value is the value while the amount of bitcoin is fixed and unchanged.

I do not agree if anyone says that Bitcoin is a gamble. Bitcoin is an investment, and I think investing is not gambling. if anyone thinks Bitcoin is gambling, that means they have not believed in Bitcoin, because they think Bitcoin investments are too risky for them.
In my opinion its like a game rather than a gamble. A game where you can win if you are wise enough of your decision. In gambling no one wins but the house itself. In bitcoin the players or the investors will win if he make right decisions.

Bitcoin is kind of cryptocurrency. It is digital money. A currency. So I don't think that bitcoin is gambling. It is an investment. But well, it is still on how a bitcoin holder uses it. If you used it to gamble, then it you just involve your bitcoin in gambling. But for most people here I think, they treat it as an investment.

life is a gambling when you take a risk to gain or lose something correct.. so does bitcoin also.today it high up to sky..tomorrow we will never know what will happen. will it still stay up high or drop down hard..it is a gamble to me.

I do not think bitcoin is gambling. I think bitcoin is an investment opportunity, but must know how to choose the right opportunity.
