I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.
Bitcoin is a digital currency i think they say that bitcoin is gambling because its have an invesment. You have to invest before you have a bitcoin or you join to the campaign. And in terms of investment. It with always at risk and risk is like a gambling i think that is what they mean. And because of its unsteady value state too.

How would investing or buying any currency be considered gambling. It's similar to buying a high risk investment, the price fluctuates a lot but even so it cannot be considered gambling because it's a calculated risk most of the time. Gambling is just throwing your money away whereas this is investing. It's completely different.
yeah its not gambling the bitcoin is investing so your btc will grow up , the gambling you only believe in luck

I agree to others. Bitcoin is just a currency. Some people confuse others by calling it gambling because they seem like to not know what it really is. When you invest real money into somewhere and then it gives you BTC, then such kind of activity may be called as gambling, but not the currency itself.

Bitcoin is not really gambling. Tho some of us take risk in investing on some of it. But somehow there are still gambling involved in bitcoin. After all it is still a choice if you prefer to plah with your bitcoin or just go what it is.

I think they say that bitcoin is gambling simply because they invest without prior knowledge about it. It is very hard to dive into something you are not well aware of. They just enter crypto world because of hype and assuming to have easy money. They will be easily frustrated if bitcoin goes down as they enter the trade or do not go as planned so they have no choice but to be stuck in holding or just to cutloss. This happens alot especially for FOMOs and people driven by hypes. Bitcoin is not a gambling if you know what you are doing. It is a currency and it must be respected as that. It is not just a money making tool online. There’s more to learn if someone says bitcoin is gambling.
Sometimes I think it is gambling because it drops or rise so quickly,but sometimes I think bitcoin is a kind of currency,it can be investm not gambling .so i am confused too
Bitcoin is not gambling it is investing. In invest sometimes will down and up but is like a gambling you bet money to win or lose. But for me its not gambling.

Bitcoin is not gambling but we use gambling to earn more bitcoin. Insted of hard currency we use bitcoin and then we make a bitcoin as a gambling.

Bitcoin is a currency. You cant say money is gambling itself. But if you invest your money and convert it into bitcoin, now it is gambling. Because you take a risk investing your money to a volatile currency hoping it would rise up in the coming days, but you know it might also drop. There is still win or lose in it, so basically its still gambling. The process is gambling, not bitcoin itself.
Ditto! Good point on clearly pointing out that bitcoin is not gambling but the process of trading and investing it may be considered as gambling. It is so because gambling, as how it is defined, is when you take the risk on something and hoping for a favorable result. It is not the gambling that most people commonly mistake as like making an unintelligent bet in casinos.

I think it's the fact that bitcoin is indeed a currency is not gambling. people who consider bitcoin is gambling, may see risks of bitcoin like gambling. easily lost in an instant because the price volatility.
But if learn more about bitcoin, bitcoin is not gambling, but bitcoin is a currency that becomes kind of investment which has a high risk with benefit very high also.

I beg to disagree, people actually say that it is gambling because they have tried it.From the definition of gambling,it says that it is an act where you risking something important by relying on chances. It is gambling not in a sense of betting money in a game of luck and skill. What we mean is people do not just simply invest in bitcoin,they are gambling it. Once you invest, you are taking the risk of losing sosomething. When you are trading, it requires to have trust in others. It may be high risk because some are reputable and trustworthy and some are not so you are taking the risk here.
