There are more men in bitcoin than women, but the number of women will increase. As a woman I have taken up a role in talking to my few friends who are also female about bitcoins. I have told them of the need to invest more in Bitcoins instead of investing all their money into skin care, hairs, bags, clothes and Jewelry. Taking care of ourself is good, but to not be a liability, knowing about investments is a good way to do that. If I can tell two ladies, and they tell their friends, more women will be interested in Bitcoins.

Without nothing to prove, it's hard to not say that.
Th currency has no ties to any gender, there is no sex to it but, our world has left us to believe that the majority of individuals taking up bitcoin investments are males. You wouldn't blame them on that as, men wake up to the reality of the innovation quick than we can say for the females.
There isn't any prove but, if we are sincere to ourselves, we can say it is male dominated.

I came across an article few weeks ago that talked about the lack of women in bitcoin. It addressed the issue saying its male dominated.
Its true that women are not much in the bitcoin forum but that's an horrible misconception about the bitcoin forum. No one would suggest that bitcoin is gender-based or male dominated.
Typically, men are more explorative in spirit while women are relatively conscious when it comes to taking big responsibilities in career.
However, women participation in financial technology should receive evaluation, advice and coaching that is thorough and directly suppor-tive.
Bitcoin is free for anyone to adopt yet they still say it's because of the "patriarchy" that there's no females involved in bitcoin.BITCOIN IS
OPEN FOR EVERYONE AND ANYONE TO ADOPT..its not the men's fault that 0.0001% of women are interested in bitcoin.
What are you even talking about? The fact that some field of interest is dominated by men doesn't mean it's mens fault and no-one is even saying that. Quit trying to be victimized.

When majority of the whole cryptocurrency scene, holders, miners, devs, and thought leaders are men, the field is dominated by men. Dominating in a sentence is not a curse word that you should feel shamed about, it's a fact.

Reason why men are dominating the playfield in bitcoin scene, is like you said, women are not that interested in general. That doesn't mean there's not women investing in it or developing it, because there are. And there will most likely be more in the future.

Recently i think I've came across a thread as well talking about the few numbers of female participation in bitcoin and cryptocurrency, and the other inviting his sister to invest in bitcoin and start by introducing bitcoin basics to her, the fact here is that we cannot compare women roles being applicable in every general settings to be on same rate men are being involved as well, aside the fact that most women were tied to child upbringings from the homes.

It seems that the majority of BTC users are male, so what? What's the purpose of bringing the discussion?
You see, people converge into areas that they like or have an interest in it, and it's the freedom of choice that leads to the different proportions of males and females in the field. As so there are more female nurses in the healthcare industry, so what?

Bitcoin is free for anyone to adopt yet they still say it's because of the "patriarchy" that there's no females involved in bitcoin.
Just ignore the left b.s. cause it's good to have freedom of choice.
Male/female proportion is never an issue, especially in Bitcoin when anyone can download a wallet and buy it from exchanges (or mine it, whatever).

The statistics of how many women or men adopting bitcoin is not known, any things we see online about this should be lies. Bitcoin is private and decentralized, no many data can be collected to accurately tell us the percentage of woman and men adopting bitcoin. All I can say is that bitcoin is being used by many females I know, it has to continue that way and many will get to know about it yearly. But men tends to understand investment more than woman and have the mind for it more. This thought can be the only reason bitcoin is more used and adopted by the men but women are actively involves all the same.

You're right that it's for everyone and people should stop with the argument that whether Bitcoin has got a lot of males and few females, is even an important matter. We should stop going with these debates because it's pointless and what's the sense of having a space that's dominated by men when the time will come that there will be a lot of women in it already I am pretty sure that they're increasing over time. I think this may take time until people will stop over these arguments because even in other things, there's always the comparison about being dominated by males or females. Or whoever makes these articles just had it so that they've got something to present into their own audiences as a topic and content.
