this is no surprise. Bitcoin mining uses over 1% of global energy expenditure. That's pretty big amount when you think about the amount of electricity we use worldwide. Therefore, Bitcoin being in the top 30 cryptocurrencies make sense because of course it is being accepted all over the world.

Bitcoin is doing an awesome job. Despite existing just for 10 years, it already started to being compared to gold. In 20 years, I believe Bitcoin will be one of the best payment methods and it will be more valuable than gold.

I would probably put bitcoin in the top 10 best currencies in the world
I'll do the same but we can't change the fact that it only rank in that way, bitcoin is indeed the best because it give us benefits and chances to make our life better which is one of the reason why we love it and why we keep on supporting it. It has faced a lot of problems and issues so I think it has the ability rank higher than that, though it won't happen easily it will take some time but I know its potentiality that is why i'll never lose hope.

Haa! That's a great achievement however our goal and vision is aiming at the skies where cryptocurrencies is seen as the first currency which is widely used by everybody across the globe. It's a wide guess into the future but i believe it would surely come to pass someday.
that is not the right way of categorizing currencies. a currency is something you use as a medium of exchange not something that has a total value of some arbitrary number. so if you want to categorize currencies you have to do it based on their usage as a medium of exchange. and bitcoin in that category will be at the bottom of the list because even with all the adoption that we had still fiat is the most used currency no matter what country it belongs to.
here is the thing though, bitcoin is in its own category and it is in it alone. bitcoin is a decentralized currency and we have no other thing to put in that category yet. altcoins aren't currencies even if some of them were decentralized.

Rather than for me to find out what can be wrong with that article, I would say that maybe we should just be happy that Bitcoin is now recognized and on the map as one of the top currencies of the world. Of course, Bitcoin is not perfect though it is still evolving as it just left its 10th year anniversary. Compared to other fiat currencies which existed for decades and even centuries, Bitcoin should be considered as just a teenager in this game and so still has a big space to grow with. There are issues with its adoption and other things but those are just normal concerns and will hopefully be address gradually. There is no question that Bitcoin is now popular and has been bearing the flag of the entire cryptocurrency industry and this forum in the first place could not have come about had it not been because of this coin.

This is just a personal opinion of the person who wrote this article. I don't really think Bitcoin can be considered as being part of top currencies in the world. Base on my personal observation, less than 1% of the entire world population know the existence of Bitcoin and out of these percentage, only a few considers it has a currency for exchange of goods and services. The 99% left do not have a single idea of what Bitcoin is and even think about using it for their transactions.

This is a personal blog alright but the chart and statistics that Bitcoin is among the top currency is actually true but didn't really make it to top 30 but in a closed edge with Columbian Peso and Bitcoin is only ranked 37, Well in this chart they are referring Bitcoin in the list of Fiat Currency by market Capitalization. we can see from the chart that Bitcoin is a unique currency and referring it as fiat is a no to us that keeping decentralized sacred to us and Bitcoin.

- This is an ordinary personal blog. And I'm not so sure the data here is correct. If you share resources, we may think that there are healthier results.
- I'm also not sure how accurate it is to compare BTC with other FIAT coins. Imagine that the Chinese Yuan is used only in China and the countries close to it. GBP is in the UK only. But Bitcoin is a global entity. People from all over the world can use BTC. And I think that's one of the most important things that make BTC unique.

Categorizing currencies based on market capacity and then making comparisons based on their relationship with fiat money is a futile comparison.
MarketCap= price * Circulating Supply. ----> We have about 21 million currencies and the price is boundless "cannot go up to unlimited."
Governments can print more money "after several conditions" and thus can easily modify the market capacity.
In terms of daily use, the number of stores that accept Bitcoin payments is still small compared to regular stores. Do not forget that part of the stores that accept BTC payment do so through third parties (BTC ---> Fiat.)
