This new year will makes many changes to bitcoin.I hope the price of bitcoin will moves to 25,000$ in few months.Many are holding the bitcoin for the price raise to the moon.If it reach high value ,even I will sell my holding and brought a new phone.For that reason,I was holding for long.Let's hope good thing will happen.

If we talk about being normal, then the price of Bitcoin even now is not normal but higher than normal, because none of us were thinking Bitcoin will suddenly boost up to $19k and then fall back to $12k or something, but we were just happy with the gradual rise of it. Now when it is at $13k+ and growing, we say it is going to be normal, but in reality, it is normal if we see it correctly and logically.

To OP, newbies are not only supposed to buy to get profit, but they can simply get their profits by holding on to their bitcoins which is something they usually don't do in situations where bitcoin even drops just a $100. So if they be patient, they will get their share anyway.

Bitcoin will recover after end of this year 2017. South Korea ban is not going to have much effect on bitcoin for long like we witnessed in September after China do the same. Bitcoin has been showing much strength against many attacks that happened in 2017. I think bitcoin is going to rise more than ever and the bullish trend is going to lead us toward $100,000.

I saw it.I observed the price of bitcoin in the last week and came to know that the price of bitcoin is rising and falling respectively. In the starting of thiis week,the price was something $13476.00.After that during the day of Christmas, the price rose a little and came to $13623.00.

In 26.12.2017,the price was $15679.00 which was $2056 more from the previous day.It was the highest of the week.

Then during the next days the price was respectively $14315.00,$14317.00,$12377.00,$13023.5703.

So in the conclusion, I don't wanna say tgat the price has increased noticeably . Yeah it is rising but at the same time falling as well.Hope,2018 will make us stunned and surprised with the price of bitcoin.

It seems that the opposite is happening just right now, the price is going down very fast, it went from $17000 to less than $14400 right now, this is a very preocupant situation, no one knows what the hell is happening.

Unfortunately bitcoin price drop again. I think its not time to buy cause bitcoin valued is always fluctuated time on time and its to hard to predict nowadays when will be the growth rate will increase. Maybe we need to monitor the price everytime to ensure that after we buy it will never fluctuated.

it is "starting to" rise again.

it takes time to recover from such a big drop. specially when it is after a large scale FUD campaign against bitcoin which has created a lot of doubt about the rise. that automatically makes people want to sell when they see a small rise and to get out because they don't believe it can rise more.
we have already tested the upper resistance once, now it is time to take a step back and recover again to test it one more time. it may happen 2 more times before the breakout happens.

As a newbie in Bitcoin, you must understand how the Bitcoin price works. There are two things called 'fluctuation' and 'volatility', look it up.

You can just call a "rise" to normal fluctuation, in fact, there's been a 2,80% decrease in the price over the last 12h, so yeah, we see up and downs almost every hour so don't get too excited about it. You'll know when there's a significant surge in the price, trust me.

And yes, the price is climbing up very fast, it went from $14000 to more than $16500 by today, but now it is in the middle of those rates.

Its a normal thing in bitcoin. The price will rise and fall. What we can do though, is buy when the price had dipped and sell when the price had pumped back again.
