That’s another kind of investment you’re referring to- long-term investment. What OP outlined is more about the investment this year, where you buy at the start of the year and hold until a certain month, likely until September 30, 2024, which is the end of the third quarter. With that presentation, Bitcoin has already gained 49.2% this year, making it the highest in the list. For an investment with such a large market cap, that’s pretty impressive. So, if you’re a Bitcoin enthusiast, you’d see this as another victory for the entire ecosystem.
I agree with you and I meant it in my post too. With different time lines for their investments, they will have different exits, assume they have same entry, and different exits at different times will bring different results. Some will get loss, some will get profit more than others.

If we only look at 1 year or shorter period, Bitcoin can not be the best and we can find many altcoins outperform Bitcoin in one bullish year. But after 1 year and more years, altcoins can not beat Bitcoin that has been here since 2009, went through many black swan events but still been here and given very high ROIs for anyone can hold it for past years.

It's not, it's this one.

My guess is that MicroStrategy Inc. wasn't included in the list because they are closely tied to Bitcoin. The companies on the list are determined using metrics that assess their independence from one another. In short, we can think of it as a ranking of countries based on their economic growth, from top to bottom.

The chart shows that people are now appreciating bitcoin more than ever, recognizing its positive value for the years ahead. This reinforces the idea that, despite claims it would disappear, people continue to place their faith in bitcoin—a faith that’s fueling a surge in investors. We’re also seeing that bitcoin is far from something to overlook, as it could very well prove to be an even more profitable investment in the future.

In fact, smaller countries are adopting bitcoin, helping it gain even greater global exposure and driving up its price. So, I’d say those who ignored bitcoin years ago are probably buying in now!

With that information we see above, it shows that Bitcoin has had a very positive year, and the year isn’t even over yet. If it hits a new ATH by the end of the year, that percentage of profit will increase significantly. We should definitely believe in investing in Bitcoin since it's backed by data.

If there are people we want to convince to invest but who are still doubtful, we can point them to this thread. They can ask questions, and we’re ready to share facts with them.
Investment is more than 1 year and I would like to look further than in 2024, that is a bullish year for Bitcoin market.

The ROI Chart https://casebitcoin.com/charts#roi_chart with 10 years time frame can help newbies to see how good Bitcoin performance is in last 10 years.
Yearly candles chart can help to have a good overview too https://charts.bitbo.io/yearly-candles/. Despite of red and bearish years, Bitcoin trend over years is up.

Focusing on one year will be very headache because we will limit our time line with only 1 year that will be mix of ups and downs and our decision will affected by ups and downs of market within 1 year.

You make a good point. On the other hand, using a 10 year metric also has its flaws, in part of course due to the high adoption growth of BTC in its relatively short existence. (We equities, could also say that every company started at $1 prior IPO and then measure its growth from there.

Having said all that, if I had to bet, I would say BTC will almost certainly be the best performing asset class among all those others listed.

It's been a good year actually in Bitcoin. I guess it's my first time experiencing a bull so fast in a single year.. I know most of us might be expecting even more from Bitcoin by the end of this year of which we know it will but then we have to take it slow a lot of things still are going to hold the market for now. Even after it creates a new ATH, we might still experience a little draw down. But I'm still remaining positive on that. Bitcoin is definitely going to a new ATH. As for those people still doubting, I have just one thing to say. If you can read properly and calculate, then you would see the amount of profits you would have been earning currently if you had bought Bitcoin before the bull... Stop doubting and start buying that's my advice for you all.

Currently, I have invested most of my assets in crypto but when I reach my goal and have the desired amount I will only invest a small portion in bitcoin and will diversify into many other assets. While bitcoin has long term potential, once I have enough money I won't want to risk too much and will instead prioritize safety.
Just be very careful of the altcoins. I do not call them investment but gambling. If you make much money while you invested in them, it is better you convert it before they start falling again. Bitcoin has a long term potential but as altcoins are becoming older, they are dumped and left for new altcoins.

Also some altcoins that you thought will increase huge in price may disappoint.

Indeed bitcoin is a good investment, but let us not forget that putting all your apples in one basket is not a good idea. It is better to learn about possible investment options before stepping in to put money here and there. Pros and cons exist in every sector and even though on this forum the bitcoin investment might sound like an echochamber, outside the forum you will not find it to be so.

In reality yes, keep crypto limited to only bitcoin, but also explore real estate, precious metals, bonds, stocks relevant as per the country where one lives. If you are going for the long term route for each of them and have a stable enough income, you can grow your money safely over the years with all these combined in a different weightage ratios.

With my common sense of reasoning, real estate such as rentage properties situated in massive and competitive regions in including stocks such as consumable commodities are also more profitable regarding that human first aid needs are accomodations and what to eat to sustain lives before chasing wealths.
So this sectors of investment to me is more profitable than Bitcoin regarding that there is intense of highily increases of inflations which has been more effective on the above mentioned Landed properties and Stocks.

Bitcoin has much been attractive literally based on its potentials value increases through which large institutes of investors are invested contributing to it volumes as the case be that.... The more investors investing on Bitcoin is the higher increase of its values.

Perhaps it is mostly an investment portfolio which investors alternates their source of incomes upon and not a primary source worth investing more than expected. Although in up to date within the 2024, Bitcoin has resiliently broken over 50% value increase which is significantly potential to overshadow traditional sectors of investments.

I don't know why I am somehow sometimes in doubt on kinda analysis about Bitcoin. My mind is made up that I should be mindful of how much value of funds I invests on Bitcoin due to its volatile and decentralized potentials.

Everyone must not invest on this Bitcoin because all mindsets are not made up the same to take the risks surrounding it knowing that we can lost our funds while invested to make more money.

Intending to convince anyone to an extend of providing proofs such as this analysis is unprofessional to any experienced Bitcoin investor. Ding ding... It sounds like a luring bell and you would be hold responsible when a victim looses its funds or has waited timely with no profits in return. after convincing him/her

I believe everyone knows this because it is so obvious but the problem is that not all investors consider profit as their top priority. Bitcoin is the most profitable investment but its volatility and risk are also the greatest. The higher the profit, the greater the risk and vice versa. Meanwhile, investors' tastes are different, some like safety, real assets, stability...so it all depends on each investor's choice.

We don't need to force anyone to invest in bitcoin just because it gives the best returns or criticize someone for ignoring it when returns are not their top priority.

Currently, I have invested most of my assets in crypto but when I reach my goal and have the desired amount I will only invest a small portion in bitcoin and will diversify into many other assets. People who bought SPX6900 is smiling inside after read that article. Tongue

Yeah it's true many people are making profit if they invest beginning in this year, but they shouldn't expect they will always profit if they invest invest during early year. Take a look with 2 years after halving event, it's mostly negative.
