this is what made Bitcointalk.org really a place for crypto because in just a single Tweet or message people here can make story bigger lol.

anyway Bitcoiners are always looking for this kind of topic so some feeling of success will be indeed because we have been tired of reading FUD and Negatives about Bitcoin so it is reasonable that sometimes we will accommodate simple stories but full of positivities.
so that mean china's people seems doesn't care with regulation from their government ?
interesting, the last news from china make the price surge about the president support for blockchain technology, but not for long time.

they are called Chinese mate.

what regulation are you referring at?they are not banning Bitcoin so there is nothing to fear off.

Bitcoin cannot be used in their country if they are going to banned it, but for sure this is going to affect a lot of businesses and companies in China also their economy since bitcoin has a big impact on China's economy.
It's impossible to ban Bitcoin to a point where people can't use it anymore. All they can do explore legal routes most people and businesses will abide by, but in the background there will always be use of Bitcoin.

I don't even know what to believe anymore from all the China articles I read---they are either manipulated on purpose or they are poorly translated where people are presented a false sense of reality, which really really sucks.

I stopped paying attention to China for the most part. It's a huge country but I don't have any understanding of that market nor the contacts that do. In other words, take everything you read with a grain of salt.

One of the biggest social platforms in China, Weibo a microblogging website has the cryptocurrency bitcoin on its 4th hottest topic.
Looks like the world has its eyes on bitcoin since the market is getting hype again.

That's true in which there are some country that are getting hyped again because of the continues rapidly pumping up of the bitcoin and other cryptocurrency that will makes them a great topic to talk about and just like what you have been said it is in the top trending of the weibo which is one of the very good social media platform that may really helps us to introduce cryptocurrency and talks about cryptocurrency.

My opinion is that it doesn’t matter if China likes bitcoin or not. They’ve supposedly banned it numerous times already & the price always recovers.

In conclusion, China either becomes bitcoin friendly in time or gets left behind. Bitcoin will be the biggest wealth transfer we’ve seen soon, it’s a store of value & a great payment tool.

Move with the times or get left behind, your move China!
So.. China somehow needs this bitcoin or maybe this bitcoin could easily be a great asset for China but it still depends on China if they are going to accept Bitcoin in their country.

Bitcoin cannot be used in their country if they are going to banned it, but for sure this is going to affect a lot of businesses and companies in China also their economy since bitcoin has a big impact on China's economy.
But we know that China somehow really is sensitive just banned something that they don't like... probably happened most of the time.

China doesnt seems to like bitcoin in the past years....What are your thoughts about this?

as for China not liking bitcoin, their government obviously (like many other governments) doesn't like bitcoin because it is taking the power right out of their hands and gives it back to the people. but bitcoin is a phenomenon that can not be stopped.
In fact, you can stop cryptocurrency, but it will be a very time-consuming process, well, or a completely wild option, it will simply reduce the entire Internet, and then no one can use cryptocurrency. Well, or the creation of an analogue of the "Internet" as in the DPRK with the most limited list of sites.

Look impossible if bitcoin become trending in China because they faced with bigger problem right now by Corona virus, I think they have no time with discussing about bitcoin reached above $10k or not because today how to make their country is safe from Corona virus and try to get back the economic crisis.

Let's not focus about the Corona Virys Outbreak. I read a lot about China being against to bitcoin because they want to create their own cryptocurrency, but look at now. It is trending in bitcoin after all of the bad comments they had to it, they want to prevail and they want to create their own. How pathetic it is to see the one who don't want it and now celebrating just because of its upward movement in its price. Never underestimate the power of bitcoin to change the economy a certain country. It's volatility is nothing when it goes over its peak. The virus has nothing to do with the digital currency because it doesn't require you to go out and have a transaction with.

This is something that usually happens when there is a price movement towards a better direction, but don't say that this is a good sign for Bitcoin, because the trend of increasing Bitcoin searches occurs when BTC prices start to rise rather than vice versa.

I do not think this is unusual. For the past few weeks now, bitcoin has always become a subject of mass discussion. This was also noticed few days ago on twitter when the emoji of bitcoin was introduced. I believe the same thing must have caused the trending in China. News such as price pump and dump always create a kind of media attention which resulted in a massive discussion. I do not know if you have heard about the bitcoin halving, This will be another thing that will create and generate massive media attention this year. I believe this is good for bitcoin because at least people get the chance of sharing their own thought on bitcoin again and again.

Well, one of the biggest country in world where they banned Bitcoin and now it's trending in the same place is really good to know, because China has always been Bitcoins largest market cap also I came to know that most of the miners are based from China. Well this is how BTC is playing a vital role in crypto market, a valuable asset for sure.

The relationship of bitcoin is not that good with the Chinese since it is banned by the government, though I don’t think its totally banned but I hope is not. If only Chinese can decide on their own, for sure Bitcoin will be one of their option, anyway this is just a short hype since we are now down again to $9k level.

As far as I know Chinese government didn't ban Bitcoin, Chinese still can use it. And I think that too much importance is given to chinese influence on Bitcoin, especialy on the price movements, and in reality it isn't that big. Bitcoin can grow and develope further even without China although everyone is welcomed along the way.
Exchanges are banned and yeah people of China still have the freedom to use bitcoin and that is while they can still legally share their thought about the price movement of bitcoin. Every cents count in bitcoin no matter how big or small the market is, if China make bitcoin Legal as in totally legal in all ways then we can expect the volume of users to pump up.
that is why Bitcoin is still on top Currency in China though only in lower position ranked 14 as i have read in some topic here while other altcoins are on top.
yet this is a proof that Bitcoin wasn't banned on that country.

but about the topic?this is just a social media boosting again and nothing to do with market, after booming from the 10k$ pump then what this issue did to help the market after?does it sustain the 5 digits value?

Most of the whales in our community are from China so probably every single increase of bitcoin will make them happy. Most of the miners are also from their country, almost 75% of them are them and the one that makes changes in the market.

Yeah, it's impossible for the government to ban bitcoin. Most of the hardware that is used for mining are coming from China, it's one of the reasons why their economy is great.

Only exchanges are banned.

Using Bitcoin in China is still completely legal, and several merchants and even big brands accept Bitcoin as a payment method.

That said, it's quite hard to actually purchase BTC, since OTC groups and exchanges are illegal. I'm not actually sure what the situation is, but it's a bit paradoxical to allow places to accept Bitcoin, but make it nearly impossible to legally actually buy Bitcoin lol.

Like where do these merchants even offload their BTC? Must be through foreign exchanges.

It's pretty obvious that Bitcoin is trending around the globe, not just in China. And it doesn't matter if they really embrace it or not. As Bitcoin will continue to grow exponentially in the next coming decade without China. This is similar to what we witnessed in 2017, lots of country are watching it, and as a result, more regulations what introduce. The thing with Bitcoin or at least crypto is that it continue to grow and if one country ban it, guarantee they will be left behind.
Yes its treding worldwide but then , we may see this possibility as well, it could be because of their current issue, digital currency might be one of the good way to communicate and pay their goods without direct contact that is why it happens that it is being get trending in weibo. Weibo is a good source as well, it is like facebook, a social media in western. But in weibo you may see recent news in their country as well.
