I liked his phrase "The cult of bitcoin [makes] many claims — that it's instant, free, scalable, efficient, secure, globally accepted and useful — it is none of those things".
Did anyone else though he was describing what XRP is there? Grin

But not only XRP. BTC too... it might not scalable yet, sure, and the words "instant" and "free" are very heavy ones... it's much faster than SEPA and with about the same cost as a SEPA transfer though.
As for security, it's as secure as the user.

I do not agree with the assertion that bitcoin is useless.
Bitcoin is the premise upon which other cryptocurrencies are being created.
bitcoin is tge "father" of all other digital assets and the most popular.
Bitcoin is on its way to being widely adopted as a medium of exchange in the nearest future.
So its not useless.

No, bitcoin is not useless. Yeah its correct that only few people use bitcoin but that will change once mass adoption happens. Still crypto world is in infant stage and new developments are happening daily. So just give it some time and you will see that it can solve many purposes.

I am not agree with this that bitcoin is useless. Bitcoin is asset. Bitcoin will never end and its value will never zero. Bitcoin is world first cryptocurrency and it price is very good. At present quiet low bitcoin price. But it is not right picture of bitcoin.

Well its useful or useless depends upon whether you get profit from it or loss from it. In my case i got a hell of loss and almost lost my all revenues in exchanging and buying and when I had thought to hold, prices went down and down and now I have nothing in hand.

but that does not make bitcoin disappear in terms of usefulness, this is a complicated thing and at least there must be an equivalent substitute in the digital world if anyone wants to replace it. Price is not a proportional benchmark for considering bitcoin will be lost, but the depth of volume and usefulness that makes bitcoin will remain at any time.

You are free to express what you think. But I think it's just a thought because of the panic that happened because of the collapse of the market. I am sure that bitcoin will survive and in the future it will be able to have a better price.

it was just his concern, maybe most paypal users switched to Bitcoin, so he was worried. bitcoin will indeed go down and always experience pumps and dumps, but it won't be worth zero (0), because many people like Bitcoin technology and are very easy to use. without regulations for transactions.

Well, nobody can predict how the market fluctuates so who are they to make assumptions based on nothing? They do not have an idea on how the market flows and so are we. It is far from over and it continue to grow as long as there are people investing and believing in cryptocurrencies.

Well i also don't see any fact in all his claims and accusations but sure he has the free will to share his opinion about bitcoin. This is what i know that in as much as bitcoin reduces from time to time it still bounces back so what's his problem anyway. Is either he invests and gain as we are doing lol or just sit tight and invest somewhere else.
