before clicking the link, im thinking its a money grab.. hmm now lets click the link and see what i find.

edit

so coinapult, aspen and bitcoin beauties are not paying for it. they want sponsors
so that is the money grab checked off.

hmm now apart from calling it "the island" that is somewhere in the Caribbean. i see no other details.. hmmm

time to dig deeper, first lets play pin the tail on the donkey.. which 'island'?

Not being many details it could be a scam so best to not get too over excited until more details if they are, are released. On a good note though a bitcoin island party does sound like a lot of fun to attend.

Bitcoin Island Party

Join Coinapult, Aspen Assurance & Bitcoin Beauties
for the first tropical Bitcoin party! We are throwing a full-island party called The Bit Drop for an entire nation in the Caribbean. The Bit Drop will be sending Bitcoin to every resident with SMS texting on this Caribbean island — roughly tens of thousands of people who call this island home will be part of a unique experience. Each islander will own Bitcoin and celebrate in style with well-known surprise musical artists who support Bitcoin, fire dancers, sponsored tropical island spirits, free giveaways, and full bitcoin education booths during the event.
