What is the time reset of this site? Or would you admins consider to put a time on the site for jackpot countdown? Thanks. Smiley
I noticed upon registering and verifying my email , there is a option that will email you when the next draw starts , still waiting for tomorrow to see if it works

lottoitaliano, thank you for your interest to Bitcoin Lottery!

We do not send any emails to winners. The main idea of FREE lottery that player needs to visit site, check account and cliam (if win). Remember that it is FREE Bitcoin Lottery)

Off topic

jacktheking, If we need 100+ randomly generated numbers at once we must use mt_rand. Here we need only 1 random number per 24 hours. rand can do this job. In this case no difference between rand and mt_rand.

/Off topic

lottoitaliano, there is nothing strange. Not all registered players check their accounts everyday.

Current price (0.0110 BTC) is also unclaimed Wink

>Is it provably fair?

PHP code that selects the winner:

.....

//Select the winner

$winnerId = rand(1, $totalRegisteredPlayers);

....

Absolutely randomly.  The main thing is not in selecting. Winner needs to Claim his prize.

Yesterday's winner fox512@xxxxx missed his prize.  Current winner juginavaro@xxxxx can receive 0.011 BTC.

Ahh. It's never a provably fair way to select a winner. Provably fair mean that the user can generate the random number themselves. I would highly recommend you to use a provably fair method to select the winner - so the users of your site can trust you. On a side note, rand() is not truly random - use mt_rand() instead.

For now there are only few registered players from BitcoinTalk. The chance to get winner form BitcoinTalk is not high. Need more players from BitcoinTalk )
if more  participant, chance to win higher? Shocked Grin
no hehe , he meant the chance that someone from bitcointalk to be chosen as winner but not about the over all chance of participants worldwide

exactly! Thank you umair01.

Your very welcome Smiley

how many winners would be picked daily? since you already mentioned a current winner after the other winner first you mentioned , forgot to claim its reward

I see. It's somewhat like my site which started a month ago - BitRevenues.

I wonder how do Bitcoin Lottery select the winning user? Is it provably fair?

Well just registered and will see how this goes. Hope one winner will come from this forum someday. Anyways if those previous winners didn't have a bitcointalk account* , how come they know your site. You advertise it from other forum? Can you PM me the link I want to see some people reviews there.
