Glad there are concerned netizens who are willing to inform and warn their fellows. Its absolutely true that scammers are really all over the world and is doing every strategy to trick people for their selfish wants. On the other side there are also people like you who is very kind for informing people in such doings that will help in there future plans in transacting and dealing with bitcoin.

What is the actual website address?

I googled 'bitcoin maker' but the scam site is nowhere to be found on 1st or 2nd result page.

Golden rule you should always follow: if someone is asking you to pay first and only after that he will reimburse you several times over - it is 100% scam.
That is the oldest method in the book, mostly used in 'Nigerian price' scam tactic.

I'm in the middle of testing / reviewing Bitzilla and Metizer right now. Just made my first withdrawal from
Metizer. We'll see what happens.
I don't have any idea about metizer but i have checked bitzilla few days ago and i am quite sure what they are claiming is just some madeup story. They are running in model of hyip and paying old investors with new investor's money. They may keep paying like this for few days or even for few weeks but 10%+ daily return is just too good to be true.

In my view, 90% of those platforms that oblige their users to deposit an amount before a withdrawal to occur is a COMPLETE SCAM. What they do is, to bait users with fast profiting first then later scam them using cheap tricks. It was a bust since the beginning.

It's all about this quoted text..

crazy short amount of time (less than 15 minutes to generate 0.3 BTC)
= scam

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.

The name itself is already doubtful, it just another trick to fool people of using this tool. It's nice that you posted it here before anyone try to waste their time there. Any free bitcoin generator is totally a waste of time and simply a scam.

I would say that this needs to be in the Scam Accusations board, but to be honest, it's pretty obvious.  I hope most people are intelligent enough not to believe that a program would generate hundreds of dollars from minutes - in fact, if anyone wasn't, I would fear that their IQ is below any recorded level, or at least that they're extremely naive.

People fall for worse scams everyday. I agree w/ you about moving it to the Scam Accusations board though. I didn't know that there was one, otherwise I'd have posted there.
I know someone personally that got his system whooped at the time he installed a piece of software that claimed itself to be a free Bitcoin generator. It turned out to be ransomware.

That happens when you don't know what Bitcoin is and how it works in its entirety. It wasn't even a noob noob as he is a well educated person.

Other than that, I don't think this thread belongs in the scam accusation section since you haven't lost anything. Maybe that when a victim pops up here, you could move this thread to that section, or he could create his own thread.

Thanks for sharing this, I was looking up bitcoin maker and found this you have warned many more people who fall for this type of scams and waste their time hoping for some positive results.

Glad I was able to help Smiley I'm trying to do one or two of these reviews a month. The scam potential is what
scares people away from bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general, imo.

I was spending some down time the other day clicking ads on one of the PTC sites and I kept seeing one
for Bitcoin Maker. Not much to look at features / design-wise, but they claimed to be able to generate
free bitcoin faster than any mining pool.

Sound too good to be true? It is.

After supposedly generating the amount of bitcoin you selected in a crazy short amount of time (less than
15 minutes to generate 0.3 BTC - HAH!) a pop up appears saying that they have sent the payment but that
you have to pay a TX fee for it to go through. In the case of the 0.3 BTC, the "fee" was 0.009 BTC.

I looked up my BTC address in the blockchain and no transaction was ever sent - confirmed or unconfirmed.

There is no means of contacting the site owner and when I did a WHOIS on the domain, the registrant info
was hidden behind a privacy service. The TRUSTe verified emblem is bogus too AND the user comments
are recycled fakes.

Here is the complete review w/ screenshots: http://bitcoinmafia.com/scam-graveyard/bitcoin-maker-scam-review/

The only GOOD thing about this is that I didn't actually lose any bitcoin.

Forewarned is forearmed!

Cheers,

Cynthia
