Dont agree with this opinion. And i can state oposite: introverts, who doesnt like to be a definite part of society, trying to find something, that will help them find financial and emotinal salvation. And its cryptocurrencies. So bitcoin is not making them introverts in the first place.

Not really. There aren't any justifiable nor scientific evidence that bitcoins actually make you introverts. It's a matter of choice. People become introverted because they see other people as a threat. Some introverts actually like the being alone because they are happy being independent and they can freely move by themselves.

Not really but introvert is a term when a person just likes to do his own stuff and doesn't socialize much it could be that people who have cryptocurrencies are often nerds as to run and maintain it requires you to be little techy

people are introverts because they chose to be introverts, it's much easier to be inside where it's safe that being outside in the real world

Yes, it is safer for such people to be inside, but this does not mean that all people become introverts thanks to modern technologies. In their spare time, many like to actively communicate in real life.

I think that some of the posters may be mixing up cause and effect here. I doubt that bitcoin (or even the Internet in general) is actually making people more introverted. It is more likely that people who are already introverted tend to gravitate more towards things like computers and the Internet, and more specifically towards cryptocurrencies and bitcoin.

In my case this is one of those areas in which being more introverted is actually a good thing because it meant that it was more likely that I would visit the types of sites where I would actually find out about bitcoin while it was still in the "early adopter" stage, thus allowing me to invest in it relatively early and gain substantial wealth when its price increased. If I were more extroverted I probably would not have discovered such sites (and therefore bitcoin) until much later because I would have been too busy talking and socializing with others, or if on the Internet doing things like chatting, texting, social media, etc. instead of reading about bitcoin.

I can relate to that. I find the never ending shitstorm that is bitcoin far more interesting than anything going on in day to day life. I could waste lord knows how much time just reading up on it whilst immobile. I should be out baking cakes for the homeless.

I have always been an introvert , long before I even came across bitcoin. I'd rather read, watch anything, chat and play rather talking to peoples irl.

It's natural all technologies make people introvert, it's a general thing, not only bitcoin. The reason is that only 1 user is needed many times, so that's why.
I agree with you. It is not just bitcoin who makes people an introvert. It is the technology. Even young children exposed to technology are become an introvert when they grow up because it is just the gadgets that they face not real people. They might be social media extrovert but in real life, they are introvert because they like to face their gadgets more than real people.

hey guys I am back with another creepy thought. I hope you guys know the term Introvert and Extrovert if not then here is a short description. Introvert are the person who like to stay alone and are more concentrated on their work, but on the other hand Extrovert are the people who are more Social(talkative) or building their friends network . they spend most of their time chatting or checking emails. so I think bitcoin is effecting everyone on the internet to be an Introvert. I have created many good topics so if any of the topic helped you or if you are an Introvert then give me a green trust. and by the way I am an Introvert too.(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLXyag83AGA)

Well I guess, bitcoin somehow makes a person introvert, I think computer does. Just observe, usually those people who associates
themselves or who spends a lot of time using computers are introvert.

I would want to disagree that being into bitcoin makes someone an introvert because as someone who is into bitcoin could be doing so many of the things you listed as under an extrovert. For someone who is into trading will want to be active at various chat box chatting with people from several places, from that point they make new friends who is even out of their personal comfort zone, he then read a lot of mails to catch up with current happenings and even updates, newsletters from the various exchange site not leaving out the fact that he will have to click on confirmation mails to effect transactions.
introvert don't like being in crowed in real life as they have confusion on being silence or too much talking but in chatting you can be silent as long as you want you introverts feel better in chat boxes. making friends in virtual world is considered as introvert stuff because you only chat and doen't require meeting them in real life.
I tend to get very involved with my work here and it definitely affects my social life. I'm naturally introverted and this only makes it worse lol.
don't worry being introvert is perfectly ok its just an another unique categories of person in phycology.

hey guys I have open a new thread for introvert discussion so if you guys think I should lock this topic here then just post a message on that poll thread.

To indulge and work in bitcoin, there is no compulsion to be an introvert. We could adjust our time flexibly and work in bitcoins. If you become an introvert for worki ng in bitcoin, then its your mistake and not bitcoin's mistake. In fact,i have got more time to spend for my family after involving in bitcoins. It has given me financial freedom and freedom from my boring job.

Most of the time when people gets more attached to the internet and related activities automatically they become introvert. Specifically with cryptocurrency we don't have anything to be done with the offline community. So it makes change peopto such a state, but we need to know what's necessary and move forward.

Disagree, I don’ see how that could be possible, someone can be an extroverted person and work bitcoin because it loves cryptography and programming and when that person is working then he puts everything in the project but as soon he is out he goes back to being the extroverted person that he is, so to me this is simply not true.

Well, it seems unfair to just put all the blame on one thing and say that causes people to become introverts, Bitcoin is a simple cryptocurrency, so there is really no way it could make people introverts. What I think makes peopl introverts, is the internet itself. Before the internet everyone would be social and talk outside, but now with the internet, people are thinking, why go outside when I can talk to people on the internet.

What you are saying is that money makes people introverts, which doesn't really make sense, since I am an extrovert and also interested in Bitcoin. I'll love to hear your thoughts on what part of Bitcoin makes people introverts

I don't think a currency in itself should be changing how you are as a person socially, I label myself as somewhat of the two. At some points I'm a bit of an extrovert and at some points I'm an introvert, though I still use Bitcoin and all that. I don't use it as much as I used to, but it's not like I'm not involved in the community itself. So to make a bold claim like this you should have some sort of study backing you up, as this is something that isn't just going to be able to be unanimously consented by everyone here to be true as I doubt everyone on this forum is an introvert. Nor do I think everyone who uses Bitcoin is one either.

I don't think introverts are bad and extroverted are good. If you give the introvert the right attitude and the knowing why things work that way,  you would see there is not much difference between the two.

Introverts tend to be views as quiet and reserved and having closed social circle,  but that is still socialising. I considered myself an introvert and hated parties and big groups. But I changed, I seen that it's kind of easy to be extrovertita if you want to...  but there is a good trait in being silent and reserved, as is a sign of being smart. Bitcoin giving a new vision for everyone.

Also this, I don't think one is better in the least. Both personalities are good in their own ways.

Maybe its just the persons mindset or personality of being an introvert. I don't think it has anything to do with bitcoin. People spend time on this forum and elsewhere to chillax or to make money with bitcoin and its just them spending some good time online. Introvert is a person who avoids social interactions at all costs and so when you use the internet for bitcoin I don't really think it makes sense at all to say that its making people an introvert.
