And once this movie will come out successful, then expect that there will be more about bitcoin in the next shows. It was also talked about years years ago on Silicon Valley tv show as well, where gilfoyle talked about his old bitcoin mining rig could be used as a server as well. So, these type of things are not new, we are not really going mainstream until it is a bit more abundant everywhere.

If you see it once in a while here and there, that means we are known and even liked by many but that is it, if you start to see it everywhere you go, like in every movie, okay maybe not every but at least a lot of them and constantly, maybe like once a month, then we can say that it's mainstream. Otherwise, we are not really going to be considered mainstream and loved with just a few passing mentions.

Bitcoin's popularity has grown rapidly. In many countries, you can ask a teenage child and he can tell you a piece of cryptocurrency knowledge.
Many schools also offer courses in cryptocurrencies. I guess it will be very common for Bitcoin to appear in movies in the future.

Oh really? I have been watching this since 2020 but stopped last year because of other movie interest , but will definitely check this part later because all movies and clips that shows Bitcoin promotion or mentioning over the world is interesting for me.
though this is a mexican series yet knowing that they broadcast bitcoin is something we must be thankful.

The first time I watch Bitcoin on famous Netflix was during 2017 on Hit Series Sitcom Big Bang Theory S11EP9:The Bitcoin Entanglement. After that many tv series follow on mentioning Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. This news of another famous series is not new anymore but still a good exposure to Bitcoin in general. There's already a lot of sports team and sports establishment that already involved to crypto.

There are already many shows and even Marvel has mentioned btc in their show so it has become normal to hear some dialogues related to bitcoin.The movie writers wants to attract and bind the public with good story and dialogues which is why they used new words in them and btc is quite famous these days.Have seen restaurants,movies,songs and all having bitcoin mainstream in their field.But yes more talks mean more adoption so good sign.

There is nothing to be surprised. It's 2022 and I met almost everyone has heard of bitcoin at least once in their lifetime. They do know a little about crypto currencies. There are tons of shows and movies that mentions bitcoin. I bet most of the audience didn't even notice they were talking about the bitcoin. Would have been surprising if it was like a decade ago.

Good to see these kind of situations that it is gradually been included on typical scenes or scenarios specially on movies which do really adds up some exposure more to Bitcoin.I havent watched the netflix series though

but i would surely check it out later on and lets see if on how it do really be explained or picture it out.Well, it doesnt matter as long it is really been showed off and mentioned about it.
Hopefully that we would be seeing more something like this which does really spread out more exposure and awareness about its existence.

Yup. It's actually a positive thing since it's already being mentioned by many show and mainstream movies. It's really everywhere and that makes bitcoin have a good impression unlike before.
The impression and description was entirely different and being used like by the hackers, scammers and in the dark market. Now, the acceptance have been there and it has given that vibe that it's for everybody just like the traditional money.

Bitcoin has already entered the mainstream consciousness years ago, hence there are now many mention of it on TV shows, series and movies. I could not anymore count how many movies I watched where personalities mention Bitcoin and many of them are done in a good and sometimes neutral tones. This is quite expected since it is the media that can be picking up anything that is new to them and that can be interesting. I am looking forward to the time when Bitcoin will be as synonymous as the dollar in terms of perception by writers of different shows and movies.

It doesn't matter if one show uses bitcoin as a word, this doesn't improve our price, you know what would? If netflix said that they would start using bitcoin to accept subscriptions. If you could buy your monthly subscription with bitcoin then you would be doing alright. Obviously not everyone does that, and obviously netflix will not start doing it but the day they do, the day payment with bitcoin is accepted in the biggest places, biggest companies, google, amazon, steam, whatever, then we are going to see bitcoin go up.

It is a currency that is not accepted in the largest companies of the world, that is not acceptable and we have such a huge potential if they start to accept.

Honestly, at some point I even stopped considering it significant when Bitcoin or crypto is mentioned in a TV show. There were a few TV shows that are strongly related to cryptos (Mr Robot, Silicon Valley), and many more that paid some attention to them. The most recent show I've seen (Only Murders in the Building) also briefly mentioned a guy accepting cryptocurrency payments for his counseling sessions. I like it that recent shows don't even take time to explain what cryptos are, and just mention them, expecting the audience to at least roughly know what they're talking about. And while I'd agree it means there's a certain fashion for Bitcoin, it doesn't mean that it's globally adopted and widely interesting to people around the world.

Bitcoin was mentioned in NCIS series in 2018. That's already 4 years ago. And it's not the only example.
While seeing it mentioned, in a way or another, can make me smile (although in most cases it's the hidden-money-ofr-doing-bad stereotype), it's certainly not something that important. Not anymore.

Couldn't agree more. Because as the adoption is growing everyday, people will just treat crypto as just another regular payment method.
Nothing special about it because people are learning about the benefits of it particularly in the payment sector.
I do agree, we are happy when those old movies have a brief mention of bitcoin or even showing the logo of btc, but now, it is like a normal thing.

Even the local media's have begun to broadcast news and information associated with bitcoin. By the time Netflix drama/series having something associated with bitcoin is a not a big thing for now.

^ It is Probably 3-4 movies on Netflix I have heard mentioning BTC or crypto.
This is not new and that is right, BTC is the mainstream and everyone is talking about BTC, but the thing that I don't understand is that they give a bad image to BTC as used for illegal activities instead of giving a good point of real use to it. I saw that there is a new movie there a BTC documentary but I did not watch it already because I don't have enough time. Is there anyone watching that documentary film?
