It's a fresh idea for this hip-hop remix, but with Bitcoin education, it is very important not to lose the depth of the message. Michael Saylor's presentation will have lots about long-term strategies and Bitcoin for preserving wealth, which can be tricky to make into a simplified rap without missing some key points. This view by Saylor, that Bitcoin is the best, draws from a decade of modern adoption trends, institutional interest, and-most importantly-its decentralized nature. Much as I do appreciate the creativity in this approach, I am unsure about how well it will be able to take up the complexity of Bitcoin's potential as a financial asset, especially for the newcomer in this space.

I don't want to sound like an old boring man, but I do hope that even with creative way of promoting Bitcoin like using music, people still will be introduced to Bitcoin in the clear and correct way.

It sounds cool, but nobody is going to take it as investment advice when someone is rapping it.

Are you sure about that? Because rappers and other idols have tremendous influence over the investment decisions of stupid people.

And maybe it's just me, but i have found every song about bitcoin or cryptos very cringe. At least those that aren't made with irony or humor.
Do you know any examples of bitcoin songs made with irony or humor? I would be curious to check them...
Sure, but most of them are about cryptos in general, Lil Bubble have some with bitcoin. They are mostly cover versions similar to "Weird Al" Yankovic, but crypto specific.

When he sings about shitcoins it's always about being a rekt bag holder, implying that he made a mistake selling bitcoin. There were others back in time, that were funny, and i can't probably even find them, as they were very obscure and not as quality or finished songs.

This is obviously a song build with SUNO or other artificial intelligence, just by using prompts. Same goes with the video.
It's usually easy to spot them just by listening because they are quite generic and SUNO can't mix very well so it distorts the vocals

And it's not like the prompt user is even trying to hide it as they used capital letters on AI

And maybe it's just me, but i have found every song about bitcoin or cryptos very cringe. At least those that aren't made with irony or humor. And since i find bitcoin to be mainstream already, it's as cool as rapping about some other tech related, like bittorrent or plex servers.

I like rap songs and this one just made my day, being a part of Bitcoin community I can really identify with the lyrics. We can not underestimate the impact of this rap song or any other good songs that it's lyrics will talk about the game change that Bitcoin brings as a global currency. It's important to spread the good news about Bitcoin through different mediums like music so that people that identifies with the genre of music can be enlighten about it. Although I agree that we shouldn't take investment advice because somebody sang about it, you should DYOR and decide whether it's good for you or not.

Musicians will always look for a way for their lyrics to rhyme with one another. Some of them don’t even know the in-depth of the lyrics they decide to use, once they rhyme together, they’re good with it and will immediately hit the studio to record a song. For a musician like this, he knows what he’s saying and it makes sense to me and serve as awareness though, even though the awareness is not enough to be said so. Every advertisement about bitcoin is a welcome development and a kind gesture to the technology. He has started it. Let’s see how many more will use it as a means to promote their song and also the bitcoin technology in the nearest future.

Music has always been an effective method used to educate the masses via schooling etc on something important like this. I find MS to be such a beast dude is a Bitcoin tank!
Basically, all the lyrics are condensed extract from MS words from his presentation.

The concept is commendable, as the primary objective of East Coast hip-hop is to engage with its audience. This is why East Coast hip-hop emphasizes intricate lyrics accompanied by a more refined and subdued production style, in contrast to the West Coast's heavier and more aggressive sound.
Ultimately, the effectiveness of conveying the message while ensuring marketability is what truly matters but if you can work on that aspect then there's no reason for making the music.

Have you realized that all this music video is AI generated by combining outputs from various AI tools? It is not a real rapper rapping here Smiley
Lyrics from Chat GPT and Claude. Music (melody, voice, arrangement) from Suno.ai. Visuals from Midjourney and Lumalabs. Human being only put it all together. It's all in end credits...

It sounds cool, but nobody is going to take it as investment advice when someone is rapping it. They just enjoy the music. And I think that's better that way. Smiley

Now let's rub our hands together and wait for the next generation of rappers to diss other rappers because they didn't buy any crypto during the Golden Age of Bull Runs (aka. 2014 - 2024).
Sure there is no one who would take that as an investment advise but we are sure it's spreading wide and going more viral, had also came across lot of our local rappers who do Include Bitcoin to their songs to make it even more attractives to listening, just like it suits their rhyme and line of song at a time also sending messages to people who aren't holding bitcoin. You know whenever such music is playing across the country there will be a tendency for interests to know why they include bitcoin to their songs Even though they wouldn't see it an investment advise.

Hey everyone! You’ve probably seen Michael Saylor’s awesome presentation, "Bitcoin: There Is No Second Best". Ever thought about how that kind of content would vibe as a hip-hop track (East Coast style)? Well, wonder no more...

It's not the usual way of educating about BTC by smart heads talking for hours. What do you think?

Just four likes on it, but the likes will certainly increase as bitcoin becomes more popular. The hip hop style of promoting Bitcoin will only appeal to those who like hip-hop as a genre of music. From the very first few beats, someone who is not a fan of hip-hop would exit the video and the entire proposal of its creation would not be met. I like the fact that there are different means that Bitcoin is being promoted through and lots of people are becoming creative about it not just depending on the normal way of promoting bitcoin. All this creativity will help.

That's pretty cool. But it seems like people are not really interested in hearing about Bitcoin in a rap song like that, maybe people will be more convinced when they are given access to knowledge that makes it easier for them to understand Bitcoin and the use of Bitcoin directly in transactions/investments. And there are also some words in the song that need to be fixed, such as crypto investment and financial freedom - even though Bitcoin is widely used as an investment, its main function is for transactions. And also to achieve financial freedom with Bitcoin, to be honest it is something that is very difficult and not everyone can do it, don't be fooled by narratives like that.

Its more better to termed it a bitcoin rapping lyrics or song, though some bitcoin enthusiasts would appreciate such, because they are hearing the sound of bitcoin in the music genre they love to enjoy, now over to the other aspect of bitcoin education, is there really something catching or captivating via learning that listeners are enjoying being informed about, maybe when they downloaded for the lyrics or something else, but while singing, some will barely hear the exact message passing across.

It's not a normal way, but what the song says through its lyrics makes perfect sense. Of course it can help to spread awareness about bitcoin in general. It's not yet time, but i believe that there will come a time when the majority of people will not trust banks, and the only way is with bitcoin. Not just this song, i know of several others that have bitcoin elements in them. Slowly but surely, we will get there eventually.

Bitcoin in hip hop, that’s surprising but, why did he had to go so old school? It’s really the east coast west coast kind of thing and music has really transcended that era. We are way past that now and you wouldn’t get many of these new generation guys about that music.

I would say the rapper did good too, it ain’t easy trying to be all educational and being in these terms into music, having to compare with the contemporary and all that. It’s cool, it would succeed in spreading the word but, people wouldn’t take it way too serious until they DYOR.

The fact that the rapper did mention that the big companies are gradually coming in for some investment is a plus.

Indeed, not the usual way of educating. And introducing the song as "a story to tell about a crypto investment" might not be the best way to present Bitcoin. As a matter of fact, that's actually a challenge as far as Bitcoin education is concerned. Many of those who recently joined the community are probably treating Bitcoin as a mere investment and nothing else.
Bitcoin has many utility, more than investment but education on Bitcoin can be about many thing, including investment.

Two educational resources to start
The bullish case for Bitcoin
Bitcoin for everybody

Also, Bitcoin isn't free.
There is no free lunch and it makes sense that there is no free bitcoin when its adoption is already big enough. There were Bitcoin faucets to claim bitcoin for free with big amount, but now that time gone.
