I have a way much easier concern compared to bible beast thins and so on...
I would prefer to wear these kind of things as a ring, or any other similar jewelry... why? Because if someone attacks me, I can give the ring to the attacker (or just drop it unnoticedly somewhere I can find it later on) and depending on the attacker's intentions you're safe after...
What happens if this thing is inside your hand? And e.g. contains 10 BTC because you're just about to buy a car, house, etc... and some attackers stop you and asks for that money? (Scans you unnoticedly before...)
You can't hand over your hand... If the value is high enough, they will take you with themeselves, or just your hand with the chip.... thanks, no...

I guess you could call me old fashion but, I would rather not have something implanted that offers little to no practicability. I guess it's a cool gimmick and could be a talking point at a few gatherings but, really why is this better than any other traditional storage options. It's correct that dogs and cats have had microchips for a while now, but really I'm looking at the more long term issues that may arise. I guess it's as simple as removing it if infection sets in etc.

I think I am going to try, It can be removed at any time, so. I want to be part of the Darwin theory if he is right and become a pioneer in the human evolution
You guys will struggle with coins in your pocket Cheesy

Nah I'm alright. I'm not sure why you would want to do that as I don't see the benefits of it, and to be honest is nothing but a gimmick. Just curious how much would this piece of kit actually cost? Would like to hear a medical professionals input on this too.

If I remember correctly the cost is like 70£, it contains the microchip and a kit to get it injected. I too was interested to hear any input from a medical person but after all, dogs and cats have microchip too for years, I haven't seen a veterinarian to claim it's not good for the health
I remember a news in Spain about a nightclub, instead to have your ticket once you pay, you have a microchip

It's actually going to be somewhat inevitable at some point. It's not that long ago where I have seen a documentary of someone who's accessing his house, his work, paying for stuff wirelessly, etc, all with the chip he had implanted in his hand. Currently we're all like, wtf, who would do such a thing, but as time goes by, it will become less weird, and may even become normal to the extent where even the average person jumps on board. In most cases people go for that what offers them the best possible convenience and usability, and implanting a chip might fit in that category. The only thing that we don't know yet, or not completely know, is how secure they are, and what happens if someone just rips your skin open to take that chip out.

Hey, I think I watched this documentary recently, wasn't it about neurotechnology and genetic manipulations? and the guy was a big fan of IoT and domotic? this dude was going too far,  I said this man will be "blockchainized" in some months Grin

Yah I believe that its a mark of a beast its written in a bible in book of revelation. I will never, never inject it to my skin because if I do that I have no choice but to go to hell. I hope that bitcoin will not support that kind of implanting chip to buy things and all of our needs.
Actually it doesn't stop to amaze me how accurately it is described in Bible: It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man.
Assuming that the person writing those words had no knowledge or first-person experience of non-contact payments and credit cards or bitcoin, this description is surprisingly accurate and to the point.

Where is it written? I did not read it. Tell me exactly what Chapter of the Bible. But I'll never agree to chip. That's unacceptable to me. What an idiot would agree to let an electronic device into his body. From now on, there will be no privacy. It is not difficult for me to use my e-wallet or smartphone to access my money. If chipping is mandatory then I will refuse Fiat and will use only cryptocurrency.
Hi, to provide the above citation I was using the New International Version of Book of Revelation 13:16-18 available at the following links:

If you'are a fan of cold storage here is a new alternative to store your Bitcoin. I still wonder if it's just for joking or if it's serious
-snip-
Technically it is more of a hardware wallet solution. To be a cold wallet, it would need to contain only the private key and offer no other functionality than simply storing it, have no payment functionality and the like.

I would never put something foreign into my body that are not created by nature. I know some religions are very strict about

this, because as you said... they believe it is the mark of the beast. I cannot comment on that with my limited knowledge. I

just know that it is not natural for you to do that to your body. We are already dumping so much nonsense into our bodies at

the moment, with the food we eat. Why do we need to poison our bodies with stuff like this? Also, why does it have to be in

your body? You can hide it in a bracelet or a watch or some other object.  Grin

I think it's already too much if you place it on your body. But it really looks cool, like you don't have to keep it somewhere safe because it is always in you. The part that it would not be cool if when someone cuts the part of your body where the chip is implanted. Can't imagine that part.

Females have had the option to get the Nexplanon birth control arm implant for a number of years now without any additional implant side effects other than typical birth control side effects. Given that, I don't see implants for digital wallets or ID's being harmful to the body. We have hit the technological curve where we can do minimal damage with an implant. I don't believe the hand is the best place (seems uncomfortable since it's a highly used muscle system), but I'm no expert in dermal piercing.

My main concern is how it's encrypted and how would you be able to access it if it breaks or becomes faulty. Another one of those technological creations that you don't necessarily want to be on the cutting edge, but after it's been reformed several times over and the kinks have been worked out.

Why would people need that or want that implants by the way? Cheesy Just your handy mobile device is the most convenient way of accessing your bitcoin wallet. Maybe some people are referring this to what being said on the scripture, hopefully it won't turn out to that evil one.

There are many examples of this in the bible. I believe it's all a coincidence though.

Flying Hellfish is a Commie
I don't think many people would want to put something into themselves to store their bitcoin, the fear of putting some sort of electronics inside of them scares people (and scares myself) because you don't know what that's going to do to yourself if it's going to malfunction. Plus, I'd rather just have a normal wallet anyway (on my computer, private key somewhere private)

Putting electronics inside of me sounds a little too scary to myself, that may just be me though.

I like the idea on how you will store your coin, but I do not want it on my body. But I know that it is safe and it's like body piercing and it is safe as long as you did it in a qualified artist. I don't know if it exists already a bar code tattoo that contains your private key whenever you scanned it. Tattoo to store your coin is quite artistic and I love to try it someday. What do you think it is better than doing microchip inserting to your body.

If it is true, it looks different, but the question is.. is it really safe, i guess no, because if it has an RF, it can access by anyone also, specially the bad hackers. And if it is safe too, i dont need to have it in my body.. it can harm me either

If you'are a fan of cold storage here is a new alternative to store your Bitcoin. I still wonder if it's just for joking or if it's serious

This kit contains everything you need to implant your NFC microchip, this can be done by a medical or piercing/biohacking professional

implant chips can be set up to interact with:

Mobile Phone
Laptop
Front door/Backdoor
Car/Motorbike
Bitcoin Wallet
Push phone number(Vcard)
Push URL

would you inject it under your skin, do you think it's the mark of the beast
I can't see any advantages or benefits of doing this right now since you still need any device to make it work or set it up and I can't see any other unique uses for this. I would rather have a hardware wallet than injecting this chip to my body for storing my cryptocurrencies even if a medical professional will do this for me. Injecting a chip to your body that can be your cryptocurrency storage looks cool but it doesn't give more security to your coins, and when you decided to cash out those coins you would still need to access it with the help of other device or platforms (so its just function like hardware wallets). But would also like to see how this thing will work differently with other cold storage (if this thing is legit).

I've seen that implants, its some sort of nanotechnology chips for skin that actually being developed for medical purpose. I dont think i ever heard about it being used to set up with a phone or wallet or even in financial industries. I might consider it if being used for medical purpose to implant that in the skin to help fixing an issue, but no i won't implant that only to use it for bitcoin wallet or any financial setup.  Grin Grin

It's all fun and games until a robber notices you using it, then you will be known as "stumpy".
