Never tried out helix before but if TryNinja says it is a legit one it's up to you to try it out.

Why not just use those bitcoin mixers that are popular here in forum and are listed as top bitcoin mixers? I won't name names of those mixers but you can google them for more info. I would rely to those mixers that has been trusted by the community and has proof of service.

Helix is legit. But IMO their fees could be lower.

They work exactly as described in their website. You send 1 tainted Bitcoin, and receive 1 clean Bitcoin minus fees to a different address, breaking the connection between the first address - and from where did the coins came from - and the final address.

You can try out ChipMixer - which is different from every other mixer in the market. They have a tor version and they don't require you to pay fees. You pay what you want.

You can read how they work in the ANN thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-chipmixercom-bitcoin-mixer-bitcoin-tumbler-mixing-reinvented-1935098

I think that there are better options if you are going to use a mixer, maybe this is a scammy mixer, if you are usually around the tor and the deepweb you should be able to see that there are a lot of mixers, but most of them are scam, or maybe they are offline.
So better to use those mixers that are on the service section on this forum, like chimixer, bitmixer, and so many others. Obviously that they operate with tor too, it is just only to tell you that maybe you can lose your funds if you try to use one of those mixers that are ramdonly on the deepweb.

I'm a big fan of TOR and the whole "being anonymous" thing. Has anyone used Helix Light as a bitcoin mixer? Ive mixed a few small transactions and wanted to ask a few questions. Like how exactly does it work?
