Spread is gigantic, much bigger than in the cryptocoins exchanges. It only makes seems to me if you want to leverage.

Can we exchange bitcoin for gold, petrol and other metals there? I think this would be better than the usual crypto exchanges then,

Yes but I think it's all paper gold, and metals.

I would rather hold real BTC in my encrypted wallet than some fractional banking instrument on the ledger of a second tier brokerage house.

That's true.

It's leverage trading with them. I am not sure how they store and buy bitcoin. I don't think you can buy bitcoin. Trade and ultimately withdrawl in Fiat.

ARGH! Why wont they allow US accounts? This would be such a sweet way to buy BTC with my credit card or Paypal!

I don't think they let you buy , just trade.

Yes this is exciting news.  I can't wait till this is the normal kind of news and nobody even bats an eye about it.  Then we will be seeing some serious adoptions across the board I have no doubt.

Hey

That is interesting,  Bitcoin's phenomenal progression never ceases to amaze me.

It seems more and more of the traditional 'city trader' types are taking notice, I wonder what effect this will have on the market.

Great news. Thanks

Nice achievement  Grin though BTC already reached other interesting landmarks like beating WU in amount transferred daily (according to a statistics site).
Plus500 themselves are quite picky,They are refusing my country and about 20-30 other countries.
