Despite the fact that I believe in some of this conspiracy theorists all over saying one thing or the other about bitcoin I still believe that santashi nakamoto is not an organization but a person who spirit is in the member of this great bitcoin community, no doubt that America may be the first world leader to adopt bitcoin due to the inability of the us dollar to stand with bitcoin in the exchange market in the future the fact still remains that America is not where bitcoin originated from and they are not the soul owner of bitcoin.
I think Hal Finney has had more involvement than he has informed us about. If it is an organisation then Hal was part of it, his link to the satoshi name is more than a coincidence.

It's very possible that "satoshi" is an organization and they have guaranteed themselves the biggest Bitcoin stack, but think about it... what is the point at all, if they will never move it?

Maybe you have given this thought and analysis to your friend. There are many opinions, advice and perceptions and complaints about Bitcoin. This digital currency is not controlled or operated by any country's government. because Bitcoin is decentralized currency. Whites can control the bitcoin. They can heat the market in the moment.

This is just another conspiracy theories. But there can also be truths behind it the only thing is there is an irony. If you have search the net the printing authority for the creation of the US dollars is the Federal Reserve and according also to some sources the Federal Reserves is controlled by the Rotschild Family who are master Free Mason and is also suspected to lead in the New World Order.
But if I were to asses it will the Central banks and the Federal Reserve who are being used to place countries into debts and thus they have no will anymore and are controlled by those masters of the New World Order. Thus the theory of your developer friend is more likely to be false but it is a good topic which we should also look into.
