Bitcoin always rising look at the time line of bitcoin from year 2009 to present it is always rising and never back to its original price on year 2009, it will drop down but it is only temporary and if it will rise it will rise drastically, so there is no need to think about investing on it invest it now to avoid regrets it is the most safe investment in crypto.

No, bitcoin will still break its own record as long as the supply or the limit of bitcoin is reached because we still don't know what will happen to bitcoin when it reaches its limit, which is 21 million bitcoin. Until then, I'm sure bitcoin will still keep on rising and will set multiple records or record-breaking, and yes, bitcoin can affect memecoin because it is the mother coin, or when it makes a movement, expect that some coins will be affected, and what more memecoins have a long chance of surviving? Anyway, just a reminder: don't expect too much on meme coin because it has a short life span. I mean, meme coin tends to crash when it reaches its highest peak because investors are using meme coin in order to earn a lot and will pull out all their holdings in order to save money, so yeah, don't rely too much on meme coin.

This is how the OP expressed his approach to this market. Perhaps I understand people with this type of thinking when they do not learn the most basic things during use. Just a game and they are just tools controlled by others. Viewpoints related to memecoin often receive fanaticism from scammers, dreamers,... but not everyone likes it like that but it is for the most part.

Perhaps the lesson they need to go through is to spend a lot of money, time, emotions,... to realize what they need to be exposed to.

In the long term - definitely will continue rising. It's hard to tell what's gonna happen in the short term.

It's safe to enter if you're investing what you can afford to lose and prepare to hold it for a year at least, or more.

And obviously BTC affects the whole crypto market.

You must have seen how Bitcoin has started running since the beginning of this year, it is not possible to say with certainty how much Bitcoin will rise but hopefully it will. Bitcoin price ups and downs are normal, they happen all the time. Definitely in personal opinion I think Bitcoin is one of the best investments out of all coins. If you take an entry in the coin now you can expect a good profit in the upcoming bull season. Most of the coins are affected based on the price increase of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is currently in a bullish state, so many coins in the market are looking bullish.

Bitcoin is not a stable coin and it is volatile in nature so it would go up and come down. Bitcoin will still reach $20k or below. And foe now it is on the high side of the investment and time is coming that the price will still go down and that will be the time people will invest a lot. And bitcoin and memecoins have no business. Memecoins are from airdrop but they all follow the falling and rising of bitcoin.

You have a lot of worries. To tell you, memecoins are not better than Bitcoin. People will say that there can be memecoins that are profitable than BTC, so what?

I assume you are asking this because you are seeing notcoins pump.

And to answer your latter question, bitcoin affects the entire market, all networks, all classes of altcoins.

I appreciate your question as a beginner. Please note that putting $100 in bitcoin is better than putting $1000 in meme coin. Because in bitcoin you can keep it for the next 5 to 10 years + the increase, but in meme coin you keep it for 1 year, it doesn't necessarily mean your money will come back, it could even be zero. Don't hesitate to put money into Bitcoin, if investing long term please always withdraw from a centralized exchange to a personal wallet and then store the recovery seeds in a safe place.

Never compare Bitcoin to meme coins because Bitcoin is a coin that is built uniquely on its blockchain while majority of those memecoins are just tokens that is built on other blockchain just as nutcoin is under the ton network. Bitcoin will rise to a new all time high sooner this year or later by next year unless that the bear market is quick to start before this time next year. Bitcoin drags the entire crypto market along side other altcoins when the price is surging high. Nut coin might be able to grow above its current price because it is just a newly launched token.

A lot of altcoins ride with the bitcoin price pump so I'd say that bitcoin does have an effect on these meme coins as meme coins are still a part of the umbrella term, altcoin. Bitcoin will definitely face a price drop eventually and I can agree that it will make things worse but have this piece of knowledge that whatever that situation is, it's always going to be a temporary thing and that you will never have to worry for it at the long-term. Another piece of advice for you OP, the price drop of bitcoin isn't a tragedy or a curse or whatever negative connotations you've got on it, it's a blessing for everyone because that's an opportunity for you to invest into bitcoin at a much cheaper price and you will have more value when you buy at those times.

Memecoin have seasons and its among one of the reason why they've failed to match up with bitcoin at the top. Bitcoin do survived in bear and bull season but for Memecoin, they barely even survive in the heavy dump season, this is particularly the scene where we get to watch them lose values and dumped. Bitcoin is on its own and gain formidable ground in the crypto market. It have the vast majority of holders because they know it's promising on every end.

Here's what generally happens:

Bitcoin goes up, altcoin goes up slightly. Altcoins go up higher once bitcoin goes flat.
Bitcoin goes down, altcoin dumps harder.

But there's something interesting recently. In the past, when bitcoin rages up, generally most altcoins tend to follow. This season though? A crap ton of altcoins significantly lagged. I think there's simply just too much altcoins in the market now for all of them to pump.
