Haha i sure hope it's 50% off. It could just as easily be selling at a premium. The market always decides what it's worth, it doesn't matter what you think it's worth

This is funny but when I bought in at $75 per BTC and tried to sell off during the peak I could not and ended up selling off at around $500 per BTC! after the price started to plummet! And got owned by GOX and BTC-E and Coinbase, such a terrible experience so far but well worth the lessons taught about the internet and "selective scamming"

Hate riding this wave and hope the liquidity is better the next bubble burst!
Wait, what?
You lost money at MtGox. Ok, so far I can follow, but BTC-E and Coinbase also took your money?
Hard to believe.

They put temporary holds on a few suspicious accounts...asked for extra info to cover themselves from scammers (and cover the rest of us). A few people lost a couple weeks to sell at higher prices due to these security measures.
In the long run, showed how secure and safe it is to use Coinbase. I'm sure it was frustrating for those few people for those couple weeks, but kept the BTC community safer from scammers trying to pull off a big one on a major exchange.

Well that's the most profitable business going around. But we have to hold on to our teeth for the price to go in our way.  Tongue Tongue

Well, if you bought only a week ago at $200, like a friend of mine, and sold today, you would have made a few dollars for a little effort.

He bought $40 000 worth, but is saying, he is going to hold out for a price higher than $300.

We will never know, if Bitcoin will perform, in the way we want it, but we can look at transaction volumes and VC investment, to see that it's going in the right direction.

Will we see $1000 levels again? {I surely hope so, but I invest only small amounts, and never more than what I can afford to loose}

Interesting calculation Smiley
I really hope that your math is right but we will see what will happen with BTC in the future.
Any way, my motto is similar to your suggestion: buy when price is low and sell when price is high!
