When BTC price is dropping, that's the worst time to sell. People make the mistake of buying when there's a lot of buzz and the price is rising, and selling when price starts to drop. That's the easiest way to lose money in Bitcoin or any other kind of trading for that matter. Bitcoin had surged up over 100% in the last couple months of 2017, this is just a much needed consolidation and slight pullback. Consolidation and pullback phases are always good times to get in, not out. Once this phase is over, the next bull run begins and you can cash in on your profits then.
Bitcoin's value is fluctuating. At some time the value of bitcoin will get lower. Look at the demand curve of bitcoin and you will see that the value of bitcoin is getting lower at some time but it will regain it's value. If you are patient then you should hold it but if you are paranoid because its value is slowly decreasing, then you should sell it now.
U need not worry it will rise back in price ...so dont panic and sell ur btc .
If you already made profit, sell some of it if it's a "huge wallet". Invest into other altcoins. It doesn't really matter what you decide to do, as the price will continue to fluctuate but it'd be good to spread out the risk into a few other solid projects

Nope, you shouldn't sell. But instead you should buy more when the price is dropping. Consider it for a long time investment, always have a strong hand to HODL.
I agree. No you shouldn't sell it. If you have big capital, you can sell some portion to buy it back from a better rate in case of a price cras, that's it.
Bitcoin cannot process more than 7 transactions per second so lets imagine for a second
that a big ship like the titanic hits a iceberg, prices flops down and everyone runs for the life rafts.
Well the sailor guys ordering the queues for those boarding the life rafts decides that instead
of saying woman and children first, he says who's got money on them can all go first because
room on the block chain is limited.
Now we have an auction going on by these miners and people are begging to get out and will be
quite happy to donate $500 per transaction to the well being of the miners to process a few bytes of
data for them on the block-chain that cannot be much good anyway or else the lightning network
would never go ahead since it keeps data "Off-Block" using Hubs.
Why I can even imagine being locked below decks on a sinking ship in order not to upset first
class paying passengers up top on the main deck.

Lols, not just Bitcoin, even alts are going down. Give them a few days and you will see altcoins will go up.
I do not advise to sell bitcoins at current price. I suppose that we will see 30k $ per 1 BTC in this year. So hold your bitcoins and wait for profit 
Looking at the chart it isn't certain whether the price will rise. From Christmas, the price varies between 12k-16k $. People are holding bitcoin in the hope that the price will increase. Achieving the $ 30k price may take a long time.

If you huge bitcoin, then a part of sell it so that you can minimize a huge loss. Also a part of it for your savings, atleast you have enough money in time there you are in need.
Don't sell them all but yes sell few of your bitcoins and if you want to invest then invest in etherum because i think this year will be good for etherum.

You don't have to sell it. Maybe the best thing you can do is to hold it and wait until bitcoin's value get high and increase again. Bitcoin might be down now but that is a good sign for you to keep investing because surely it will recover and its value will get high again. I have huge btc in my wallet.

You should first do your research before selling because of a market dip. First, do you need the money in fiat or is it just a fear that the price might not recover? The speculation is that the price will rise, and that is what I am hoping for. So I will not be selling any time soon.

Just hold your coins for today because it will probably increase even further more in the future. Dumping of bitcoins value only means that it is the time to invest and wait for the coins to increase before selling it on the market for you to not lose your profit.
Well its not advisable to sell your bitcoin while the price is dropping,you can sell when the market value appreciate, hold on for a while, but if you need cash urgently to attend to your immediate need, you can sell it off.

Do not ever sell it even the price is slowly going down because you will regret that you do panic selling. Furthermore, I suggest you must prefer to hold it than to sell because I do believe that the price of bitcoin will rapidly increase in the future and it may result to a high income so that you must hold your bitcoin. Bitcoin is now dropping in for a while so each person's personal should sell or maybe keep it. I can keep in my wallet. If you are thinking of a new or bigger target in the future, you should take the time and learn more about the bitcoin market because it is expected in the future to be more expensive.

This post is dated back when bitcoin was just taking a major correction. I wonder if OP had already sold his bitcoin. Since he claims a huge amount. I suppose he will be a millionaire right now.
