Jeopardy has been an irrelevant throwback ever since that computer beat all the human contestants.

You mean Ken Jennings?

Ha-ha I haven't had a good laugh today so true so true he meant Sherlocks assistant but Jennings is a computer
If only they could bring it back for the battle of the decades it deserved a spot.

Bitcoin was just one of the clues on Jeoprody! Now you know it's finally made it!

Edit: Fixed spelling for the grammar Nazis.  Wink

Why did you write in your edit when you can just edit a post without any time stamp or issue?

Idk, why not?
Personally, I make notes of an edit any time there are already replies for two reasons:
1) So that people who have obviously already had the opportunity to see my post can see that it has been changed
2) So that someone who has already quoted it or uses some Internet archiving service can't accuse me of lying/manipulation

OTOH, when there are no posted replies because I simply notice an error just after posting, I edit and make no note.  On the off chance that someone brings it up after the fact (for instance, they are in the process of making a post with a quote), I can always point out that I edited it shortly thereafter.

Is there no BTC channel on YouTube yet? We need a collection of the good pop culture references so we can send friends and family to the link with the assurance that "see, the Kardashians are doing it..."

I may start watching Jeopardy again!

The wager is kind of an insult if it isn't in BTC, am I right?

Looks like Jeaopardy is looking for a little rating boost eh.  Hey Alex you keep this up and you might just get your wish.  You scratch Bitcoin's back Bitcoin scratches your back! Wink

Seriously though I'll have to keep an eye out for a vid I'm sure I'll be posted at some point or maybe in a documentary.

Didn't Bitcoin already appear on it? Or am I mixing up things here? Anyways, this is a pretty awesome thing for Bitcoin. I mean, Jeopardy is a highly successful show that is part of US pop culture. If you make it there, you'll make it everywhere!!!

Technically this is the second time the first time is this clip

The second one I saw but didn't see a clip for yet

So it was in the hardest possible category of Jeopardy questions like:

Named the USA's top trail, the 26-mile McKenzie River Trail not far from Bend in this state has many a bend itself
or
'Cilla Mullins, it's the 17th c., baby, & I'm speaking for myself. Come on, li'l mama! We'll have 11 kids & make Plymouth rock!
or
Ira Gershwin said, "I never knew how good our songs were until I heard" this jazz & scat queen "sing them"

You know, mainstream stuff that everyone knows.   Roll Eyes

The 2K questions tend to be quite difficult
Although most I say most because you never know sometimes Idiots XD
Will get that question, when it reduces in difficulty that can be another sign of mainstream adoption haha.
