if I think both are great for long-term investments, if we want to buy right now I think the time is right, because both of them are now experiencing a price drop very far from the highest price level, so this is our chance to buy and save it, and sell when the price will rise even higher.

Both coins are good for long-term investments, but I would say that bitcoin is more stable but it will bring less profit; ethereum is more volatile, but it can increase stronger and give more income. You can distribute the funds between these coins, and it will be the best solution.

The first thing to do is not make your long-term investing decisions based in the price action for the last few days or weeks. This two are really good investment for a long-term hold. Both of them are useful for investors who are really into technology. I think you must splitting the amount and invest in both the coins it make huge in two years later. This is the best time to buy in both the coins because already we are all miss the dip so it will never get back to 6k USD so you should invest know otherwise you miss the right opportunity.

I think now is the right time to buy either or both of coin as their prices are low and when you hold on long term, by the time to decide to sell it, you profit would have multiplied as they have the potential to yield profit and are more stable than other coin in crypto.

if you are looking for long term investment go invest for BTC, and for short term go for ETH. In the long run BTC can double it's price so it is good for long term investment.

If for long-term bitcoin is certainly better than eth, although both are the parent of cryptocurrency, but bitcoin is still the number one. Because of rising prices all alcoin still follow bitcoin. If bitcoin rises, alcoin just follow it, and vice versa. While eth itself still follow the bitcoin trend.

Any of these two coins are good, taking into consideration their market caps. You can diversify your investment, perhaps 60% for Bitcoin and 40% for Ethereum.

imho, I do not think that is sound advice - waiting for ETH to reach $1000 before one should buy. The principle is to buy on the dip and sell when it peaks. By the way, the op wanted to know which asset is best for holding and which is good for investment. I would say both are good for holding and investing, only that ETH has a more preferred investment prospect for ICOs, while BTC has a more profiting index for trading activities.

This two are really good investment for a long-term hold. Both of them are useful for investors who are really into technology. As you can see, both bitcoin and ethereum are starting to have an upward trend, and let's hope that this will be the start of the market recovery. Soon, we might start seeing a bull-market.

Bitcoin and ethereum will be good. As it is the leading coins which bringing the higher value than others and most commonly used by those big investor to invest there savings such making it 3 up times in return.
And for others who's new investment might go for the lower one which ethereum as for starting.
