I choose both, gold and bitcoin are great for long term investment and have been proven for a long time, but for now I will priority to bitcoin because it can get profit faster than gold.

It is very clear that it will be bitcoin because you are in a forum that mainly talk about bitcoin so it is clear that it will go for bitcoin because it is volatile and easy to take advantage because of the vulnerability of bitcoin in the news so i can almost predict when i am going to sell and buy and that is why i am still into bitcoin even it is volatile.
Bitcoin for me because the price of the bitcoin is much more high than the gold on the other hand the investors of the bitcoin are higher than the gold. I am choosing bitcoin for my investment and I am very sure that not only me but almost everyone will take up bitcoin instead of the gold specially those people who are interested in the investment and the trading with their money and they want to increase their money so bitcoin is best for them.

Both are profitables and having very good value and best potential. However i would like to choose Bitcoin because its price is increasing actually a lot faster than gold and also its spendable online unlike gold. Gold also can't lose its value so investing with it isnt bad, but its having another features and only traded offline and we cant use it to buy goods and services usually

Anyway, I would invest more on bitcoin because of it promising future to come and little in Gold because it has almost got to its equilibrium. Meanwhile, economically it is not appropriate to invest or put everything you have in just a venture,  thats risky.

If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.
I would probably choose to invest in both. If ever I have wealth I will buy half of it for Bitcoins and another half for gold either way profit will surely be good. If Bitcoin still exist that time and will skyrocket into like x10 that would be great and in terms of gold it will surely goes high too unlike Bitcoin which has lesser supply than gold so the value of Bitcoin will definitely increase because of scarcity. Wise choice if you select both.

I would say why not both everything have there pros and cons, there is no guarantee that after 10 years there will be bitcoin or not but it is definitely sure that there will be gold by seeing the old reports and will continue to effect the market. So I would advice if you want to invest, then invest 70% of the money in Gold and rest in 30% in bitcoin because the price of gold will definitely rise and if you loose money in Bitcoins that can be recovered by the interest of gold price but if the price of bitcoin goes up you can buy much more gold than you had on the first place.

Investing in both gold and bitcoin is really a wise decision. Now you just have to consider what is your goal. If you want to have some good earnings in a short period of time, you can risk a bigger percentage of your assets to bitcoin and lower percentage to gold.
If I have only a little amount to invest, I would forget gold and go all in with bitcoin.
For me, this time is the best opportunity to get in because there are a lot of good news that could possibly drive
the price upward, we just have to believe and be patient all the time.

you are right mate. according to warren buffet - it is the investors with a great deal of patience win in cryptocurrencies. that is why, if you are investing with bitcoin and you believe its real value, better hold on amidst some news that it is a bad investment. Just hold on and keep the faith.

Each phenomena has both pros and cons.

As for gold, it is relatively stable and has had centuries to establish its relative value in the world. So it will always be in need. As for bitcoin, nobody knows what will happen with it tomorrow and if its value will be high. But bitcoin is thought to be a new currency that will be able to keep our world finance system in stability.

if I am welcome to choose between bitcoin or gold, I would prefer bitcoin, because the development of bitcoin every year in my opinion is very promising to be an investment choice in the future.

I prefer gold. Because it is possible to hold it in your hands and you always know that you will not remain without money. I think gold will keep having a high value. Bitcoin can go down in value and then you will become poor.

If I will have to convert all my wealth and choose in which one is the best to choose between bitcoin and gold for 10 years holding, I will be glad to tell that I will not choose between those two because I will take those two as a great choice because taking a half of my wealth and put it equally on those two can enable me to have a large possiblity of growth and earning since those two have the potential to make my money grow when it comes to long term holdings.

when it comes in price i think bitcoin can win this battle because bitcoin price now is 4000$ and up but golds price is 41.72/grams. but in resources gold is better than bitcoin gold has trillion of tons but bitcoin only has almost a million.

my discomfort with bitcoin is only on the regulatory part and unstable, but I rule out gold because of the greater bitcoin gain every day, if people are afraid of the risks that bitcoin is going through, then I am a risk-conscious person, all businesses have the same thing and we must continue to believe in what we choose.

Hindsight is 20 20 but I think I would still invest in bitcoin. Although it has risen quite a bit lately I think we are still in for another 10x at some point and I dont think gold can even 2x.

I'll go for Gold. Bitcoin for me is a fast rising trend when it comes to currencies but let's admit it, they are in an electronic platform which may deem money stored here in a potential threat to be hacked or transferred to an account via bugs or malware. Pretty unstable. But if you will buy Gold, then I think It will okay because Gold has been there for a number of years already and many can attest to how precious it is and how much the price of it appreciates over the years.

Bitcoin or gold?
I would prefer gold, because I think gold is a very slow investment.
Bitcoin is a very attractive investment and also very fast rise in price, but prices are also falling very fast.
But I'm very sure, for now bitcoin is a better choice compared to gold.
Bitcoin can not be better than gold. When bitcoin falls, it does not seem like such an interesting investment.
I consider it necessary to have both bitcoin and gold and silver and ether and real estate Wink
