I think that gold has all the more or less valid reasons to be considered the best investment goods, but at the same time Bitcoin is a good investment for a users

If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.
I would rather astill choose bitcoin than gold though it is already ancient, but even is like that bitcoin still the good one to choose in. Why? becasue it is volatile which is the heart of the traders here.

I prefer gold because someday bitcoin will end. Even satoshi said it that the invented alogaritm will end and it will base on how many users of bitcoin. Though just to correct your post bitcoin has been around 8 years which startded 2009. I made some research and watch documentary how the bitcoin startded
I'm not agree to you. Bitcoin will never die. Bitcoin will exist in this world forever.

Bitcoin- in bullish time
August 14, 2017, 04:38:12 AM
I'll just choose bitcoin for a long period of time, because I think that the result will be much different even though it's time, because bitcoin has always fluctuaktive properties so it makes me more interested in choosing bitcoin
Bitcoin will never fail to surprise you because you can earn a lot of money with just a minimal investment if you will let it stay for long term unlike gold that it will take a lot of decades before you can see that you are really earning with your investment. Because of the fluctuations of bitcoin, a lot of people are earning money passively and that is the biggest concern for the people who want to be rich.

Who said that bitcoin will end one day? If really it going to happen then why investors invest their money in bitcoin and other joining in bitcoins? Creation of new bitcoin may stop after reaching some numbers of total bitcoin.

Why? Because investors know that whether it "ends one day" or not, they can make profits off of it right now. That is the whole name of the game with Bitcoin right now... profit. Read the posts just in this thread alone and you can get a snapshot of what mindset the average Bitcoin "investor" has. Most all of the posts say something along the lines of "I choose Bitcoin over gold because Bitcoin can earn me huge gains in the short term. Gold stays steady and doesn't earn big profits."

The gold has no value in front of bitcoin now and its not gonna rise more than what it is currently. Gold will never rise like bitcoin and bitcoin will rise so much that it will surpass the assets present to date. So of course my choice bitcoin over the gold.

You can predict the future? What are you basing that assessment on? Are you saying that gold will not rise above where it is currently? If so, that is a very bold statement. Back when gold was $300/ounce there were people saying the same thing. It will never rise above $300.  Cool

Gold is better secured one investment on gold is not increased much . But Bitcoin value is increasing Bitcoins are profitable.investment of Bitcoin is better than gold.

It's because both the things are fundamentally different in nature. Gold was popularised as valuable ornament whereas Bitcoin came up as a worldwide payment system. You can not use the specific part of gold to transact (unless it is in digital form). On the other hand, Bitcoin has high divisibility which makes it easier to transact. Mass adoption in comparatively less period of time played a key role in the growth of the Bitcoin and still, the user base is increasing day by day which highlights the further potential of this technology.
yes i agree with you that there is  big difference between the two. because bitcoin is a currency a digtal currency while gold is an el therefore lement. e cannot compare the  two. but still if we compare the two we can see that bitcoin is more better than gold, because gold is giving us good profit that is possible from gold because of the le price of gold.

Initially I use to think that bitcoin is very unstable and may collapse at any time as compare to gold. Now I see form the last month and during the fork situation how bitcoin can outperformed in the market by bitting all the chaos. It has been growing since the hard fork and not stopping at all. Im wishing myself to invest more money into bitcoin rather than gold. The gold has no value in front of bitcoin now and its not gonna rise more than what it is currently. Gold will never rise like bitcoin and bitcoin will rise so much that it will surpass the assets present to date. So of course my choice bitcoin over the gold.

Then let's enjoy while it last, there is no such permanent things in this world but the decentralization is something that is a great
idea that will remain. If bitcoin will not succeed then for sure there will be new coin that will emerge and replace its position now.

With the features of bitcoin, there is really a good potential that it will stay here for long if not forever. We just imagine the value of being non regulated and decentralized value of coin where we can use on our financial transactions? Not to mention that it has some sort of anonymity...

Well, now bitcoin prices really be a thing to be noticed. Even gold can not move this fast. Maybe gold quality will never be refuted, but right now, bitcoin is on top of all investment tools.

If we look at the trend of bitcoin values higher than in gold. I prefer to invest some of my money into bitcoin and partly for gold so that the risk is less.
Hmm somehow you are just saying something which you didn't even think that what you have said I mean if you are having precious thing like a bitcoin then why you would go for gold as well. As you become a lover of bitcoin then you will forget about cheap services of the world which is 100% disturbing you in a daily life while bitcoin is relaxing you daily.
You don't have to blame Elsaveronicha for what he/she said and it because of the unity which is not in bitcoin which leads to the hard forks. Therefore, most people who don't really understand bitcoin are having a second thought.
That's right, If you are deep in bitcoin of course you're gonna choose bitcoin not gold, But if you are lack of knowledge about in bitcoin you're gonna choose gold due to its almost ancient already but if you knowledge for both of it, you can them both too. But for now, due to the volatility of bitcoin it is much better to choose to invest in than gold though it is good to choose gold too.

If Bitcoin goes up like this, then I don't think that anyone would prefer gold over BTC. I first invested in BTC five years ago. Although the initial amount was small, so far Bitcoin has given me close to 15,000% returns. My only regret is that I sold a large number of coins, when the price was around $220 per coin (in 2015, when I had some financial difficulties).

Same here but really big amount of coins that I have sold but the greater amount was due to gambling. I did not value more bitcoin before because I was just really playing for fun and to me, bitcoin has not that much of value until its price rising...

I believe in gold, only because it is a physical thing, that is slowly running out and if you have a brick it is forever (well unless you sell it) While with bitcoin, it could get old fast, and be obsolete, when some altcoin becomes extremely popular and better in every possible way.
Moreover I think gold will never run out, gold is a jewelry that will continue to be valuable all the time and it has been proven from hundreds of years ago, even thousands of years ago that gold is very precious. And it will continue forever, with that gold investment guaranteed
