I honestly choose the gold, because from now gold is more valuable than Bitcoin, if you have gold maybe you can use it as exchange of Bitcoin in the market. But, the vise versa was in reality you cannot buy gold using Bitcoin.
Gold is more valuable than Bitcoin in what aspect? Market cap?

Other than that, you're not really up to date with everything. For quite some time there are a few reputable sites that allow you to purchase gold with your Bitcoins.

One of them being jmbullion.com ~ just take a look. It even offers a 4% discount on purchases through Bitcoin. I however have to note that jmbillion only ships to USA addresses.

If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.
Well i will pick bitcoin and gold because bith of them has a good fortune and has a big value. But when you keep both of them for 10 years, gold will have a more greater value than bitcoin because gold has more stable value than bitcoin.

I will choose both with the composition 1/4 for bitcoin and 3/4 for gold, because I think gold is more stable and the risk is not as big as bitcoin, but who knows? In the next 10 years bitcoin is more profitable than gold, the point is " Do not put all your eggs in one basket "  Grin

Bitcoin- in bullish time
April 26, 2017, 10:57:21 PM
Both are something good to invest in if. Gold is pernament and bitcoin is probably the future
Bitcoin can be also permanent if we just maintain what is good for bitcoin, the limited supply of bitcoin is not a problem for surviving in also lifetime because as long as there is a supply that is rotating in the market then bitcoin will never die and as long as there is a maintained network that will support the transactions then there will no problem for bitcoin for being permanent.

Bitcoin is future but it cannot be permanent as sooner or latter it will get replaced by some other currency so we cannot trust bitcoin too much as we can trust gold as gold exist since long time and even in future it will always survive.

I will invest in both of them to minimize the risk in future as you cannot depend only on single investment to make profits in future as if your investment goes wrong then you will loose all your money without any room for recovering your capital.

Bitcoin, absolutely.

Gold is relatively stable and has had centuries (millennia?) to establish its relative value in the world.

Bitcoin is a disruptive technological protocol in its infancy.  It is still in the process of price discovery and as additional layers of interface are added on top of the protocol, the difference will be equivalent to the difference between the internet today and the internet in the 1980's.  It is impossible to predict what bitcoin will be like in 10 years, but I expect it will be exponentially more useful (and as such, exponentially more valuable) by then.
Like you i also prefer on bitcoin. Because as we will compare the two they have similarities and differences in which some point you can elaborate which is better to choose. For me bitcoin have a big future as we can see it price pump at is peak so getting in with bitcoin is not going to be hard for us. And not just that is transaction is through the internet meaning to say that the security is more on it. And we all know compare to gold that tangible bitcoin is more easy to work in through handling on wallet for different transaction.

I will prefer to invest in both of them as you cannot rely only on single form of investment so its always good to invest in multiple products to divide the risks so even if one fails you can expect some profits from the other one.

I want to invest for both too but bitcoin is on hype now and it will be profitable for me if I'm going to stick with it. I know it's better if you will have these both investments. But for me that doesn't have an ability to manage both investments or two or many investments on the same time, I'm just wasting my time as my profitable stability will lessen.

Now I will choose bitcoin
Its price is growing very fast and you can quickly increase capital, gold will not.
Bitcoin in the trend.
Bitcoin is interesting to me
Maybe, but in my opinion you shouldn't choose the asset that may quickly increase capital, because the bigger chance to get your money multiplayed means the bigger chance of losing whole your money or at least the part of them.
You should take care on the risk, and always choose the correct balance between risking and staying secure.
Also, dont let yourself to forget about diversification which is extremely important tool in any types of investments, that should be always your advantage that even when any asset price will go down, then you are still being covered by the other instruments.

So, why won't you choose bitcoin and gold? Both assets are simply great and you may get decent interest on holding both of them, so I cannot understand why you should choose one.
The gold is surely a great thing during crisis, or when people want to make their money safe: then they buy gold, what increases the price.
Yeah sikke is right in which Bitcoin is more volatile compared to the 2. He is right about something that can quickly increase can also quickly decrease, with a quick price movement investors/traders a like are always ready to do a profit taking that may cost a massive panic selling. Also I don't think you can compare Gold and Bitcoin because they are 2 different things in which one is stable and the latter is not. Just like what StarCitizen999 like is that he chose Bitcoin for the reason that he may be able to increase his capital with it. Meaning that it is in there own personal preference of what they are choosing among the two. If you are looking for stability you can choose Gold if you are looking for growth with risk you may choose Bitcoin.

yeah there always a good and bad side on anything ,
include investment , really you can not choosing both investment ,
and the real problem here is not on that matter ,
but more to what is better among them? and i will say it is bitcoin , soon or later gold could be outdated in tech age.

There are many people who don't believe in innovative technology and will prefer to go with traditional ways of investment and their first choice will be always gold and even if bitcoin becomes more popular in future I don't think that people will stop investing in gold.

If the price of bitcoin keep on rising due to the general adoption, I think people will invest in it.

Definitely,i would prefer to go with bitcoin.Gold has been saved for centuries. Its secure. But bitcoin also works on a secured block chain system. So it couldnot be hacked.Bitcoin has almost doubled twice in its price in the last six months. But gold doesnot show such a high increase in price.More over, gold could not be taken to other countries easily and quickly. But bitcoins could be easily transacted to any part of the world quickly.

we cannot conlude it so easily,  For me if they both i choose theres a possibility that One of them will be too profitable but theres a possibility.that one of them.will dump, im not.sure if it is bitcoin or gold.

I am sure that gold will be valuable in 10 and 50 years. About bitcoin, I can not say so. Everything changes quickly. Now I believe in bitcoin, but I do not know what will happen tomorrow. But despite this I choose bitcoin
